One of the best LEGO Skywalker Saga tips is for players to collect studs. The small collectibles that emerge from destroyed items, or remain on the path, are great to collect because it acts as the game’s currency. Players should prioritize their collection of studs, so they can unlock plenty of goodies.

LEGO Star Wars tips can help players get the best experience, and studs are the main focus, considering they are used to purchasing characters, in-game hints, and different star ships to fly around in.

13 It’s Okay To Miss Collectibles

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga features unique open-world designs for each planet. These areas are explorable in free mode in any trilogy, so players shouldn’t worry about leaving things behind. One of the best tips for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is to come back to collectibles with more experience.

Some character classes are vital for unlockables, and the player may not have them yet, nor the experience on how to use them. Collectibles in missions and free mode are not going anywhere, and the player can easily collect them all at a later date.

12 Side Quests Are A Side Dish

It may be overwhelming to enter the vastness of the Star Wars galaxy in LEGO form. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has so much to offer fans of LEGO games, and fans of Star Wars, in one giant package. Each venture to a new location will see players talking to iconic Star Wars characters or ones that are subtle background characters with a name and backstory.

These characters that can be found often give players side quests, which can be completed for a reward. Players can accept all the side quests they can find, without the option to fail them. They can be completed whenever, so the player shouldn’t feel like they have to get to it straight away.

10 You Can Start Your Adventure From Any Trilogy

Upon starting a new game, players will find an interactive menu with a unique icon, showcasing an impressive, animated scene from each game's respective movie. Despite what the order may suggest though, players can start the nine-movie saga in any order they like.

Of course, those who want to play through the games chronologically should start from Episode One: The Phantom Menace and make their way all the way to Episode Nine: The Rise of Skywalker. Alternatively, however, players can pick and choose their favorites. There's nothing stopping them from starting at Episode Seven: The Force Awakens, nor from where the Star Wars journey began back in 1977, with Episode Four: A New Hope. The choice lies with the player.

9 Spend Kyber Bricks On Core Upgrades

In story missions and through exploring planets, it’s inevitable that players will find floating, glowing blue LEGO bricks. These are referred to as “Kyber Bricks,” and can be used as a currency to upgrade characters. Each planet is brimming with Kyber Bricks, so players will never be in short supply of them.

These collectibles should be used firstly on Core Upgrades. These will permanently increase stats. These increases include great bonuses, like extra health, dealing more damage, and an indicator to collect more Kyber Bricks for additional upgrades.

8 Use Datacards On Stud Multipliers

On each planet, players can find a few Datacards. These are unique items, that, when paired with studs, can be spent on Extras. These extras can range from silly fun, like screen filters, Cantina Band Music on repeat, or having all lightsaber wielders enjoy a French baguette for a weapon.

It’s recommended that players spend the first few Datacards that they find on more practical use. For example, it's possible to buy “Stud Multipliers,” which will increase the number of studs that players earn upon collection. They start from x2, and then x4, and so on. These stack to the point where players can have a multiplier of 3,840. At that point, they'll never run out of studs for buying characters, ships, and achieving True Jedi status.

7 Each Character Has A Specific Class

The Skywalker Saga learns from its predecessor and has a much more extensive character system. The Skywalker Saga boasts a roster of almost 400 characters and has each one in one of nine useful categories, each with a unique ability.

Players can tell what class their character is in by examining the icon next to their name. Characters like Boba Fett are Bounty Hunters and can explode gold LEGO blocks. Characters like General Grievous are titled Villains and can unlock certain doors, and crates, and throw bombs to destroy silver LEGO bricks.

6 Lightsabers Have Extensive Combat

Players can juggle enemies in the air, and assault with a flurry of button mashes. Or, they can deflect blaster fire by blocking. They can keep the distance, by throwing the saber, and having it return to them to hit and combo more things. The higher the combo, the more studs players will earn once the combo ends.

5 Some Collectibles Need The Scavenger Ability

If players have stumbled across a ledge, or a wall that has a strange symbol next to it, chances are that they have found something that needs to be achieved with the Scavenger Ability.

If they missed it, they shouldn't be dismayed, as this game has a great level of replayability to find things that were missed or couldn’t be collected the first time around. Players simply need to play through Episode Six: Return of the Jedi, or Episode 7: The Force Awakens to unlock a scavenger character like the Ewoks or Rey, to unlock the Scavenger Tool Tutorial.

4 The Galaxy Map Tells You Your Total Completion

For those who are completionists or are just curious, it's possible to open up the map through the interactive button and check the current completion stats for each planet.

This handy tool will allow players to see what they have left to do, as it will give them a total percentage, as well as a number of all the Kyber Bricks, Datacards, and Characters that they have found so far, and how many are left.

3 Each Planet Has Unique Puzzles & Side Missions

It can be overwhelming to fly to a new planet and see the Minimap brimming with Kyber Brick icons. This is all part of the fun of LEGO Star Wars, however: to collect. These entirely optional, yet useful bricks can be found aplenty.

Through lots of mind-engaging puzzles, players can be rewarded with Kyber Bricks, and, sometimes, even new characters. This is the same for character side quests, where some are quite hidden, and others need the player to talk to the character with a Protocol Droid to understand their alien language. Not everyone in the Galaxy Far, Far Away speaks Galactic Basic Standard.

2 You Can Replay Specific Missions From The Start Menu

If players have played one of the major missions, they may have found that, upon its completion, the screen will show them their total progress. They will see if they found a certain number of studs and made it to True Jedi, how many Minikits they collected, Level Challenges completed, and Kyber Bricks found.

Despite what the stats may show though, players shouldn't be alarmed and panic if they missed anything, or failed to reach the designated target. It happens and is easily fixable through retrying. Players can open up the start menu and retry the mission in Freeplay, and even use characters that were locked in the story-specific version.

1 You Can Obtain Characters Early With Codes

After starting the game, players might find themselves strapped for studs to buy characters, and most characters are locked behind story progression. This can be challenging to new players when characters have specific abilities tied to unlocking collectibles.

For those who want to get these collectibles early, it's possible to use codes to unlock Bounty Hunters like Dengar and Villains like Grand Moff Tarkin, thus allowing players to keep their hard-earned studs for different characters further down the line.
