Jango and Boba Fett are two of the popular Star Wars characters represented in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, but some players have been lamenting the fact that their jetpacks are so limited in traversal options. One LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga fan has created a mod that gives players the ability to fly indefinitely as any characters with jetpacks.
YouTube content creator and mod enthusiast Jedijosh920 recently posted a video showing off their mod for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga alongside a post on Nexus Mods. Their video confirms that several LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga fans were requesting they fix the game's jetpacks to more accurately reflect the ones used in the Star Wars universe, notably the two bounty hunters Boba Fett and Jango Fett. Players that locate the Jetpack mod and enable it will not only be able to fly for as long as they want, but they will also unlock the ability to reach new heights at impressive speeds.
The LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga clip begins with comments from Jedijosh920's community flashing across the screen as Boba and Jango Fett stand in front of Grogu on the Star Wars planet of Tatooine. Jedijosh920 then proceeds to highlight the standard jetpack offering in the game as Boba Fett, hovering for a moment in the air before returning to the ground. After a pause in which Jedijosh920 enables the mod, the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga player is able to show off the full extent of the mod's abilities.
Flying indefinitely in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga isn't limited to the height already possible with the Boba and Jango Fett jetpacks as Jedijosh920 proves that players can continuously climb upwards by rising above some nearby mountains in their clip. While the player reaches some tremendous heights in their video, there is no fall damage. Jedijosh920 also highlights the fact that jetpack users can fire upon enemies while they're flying just like in the standard version of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
Although Jedijosh920 showed Boba Fett soaring higher than nearby mountains in their demonstration of the Jetpack mod, it's currently unclear if the mod will allow players to access hidden areas or if they will bounce off invisible walls at a certain point. With how many players requested the mod from Jedijosh920, there are likely even more Star Wars fans that may be interested in empowering the LEGO bounty hunters with the mod. Beyond simply improving jetpacks' functionality in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, this mod may also help players reach some distant LEGO studs more easily.
