A new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens shows off more of the upcoming game, and announces a demo currently available on the PlayStation Store.

During Sony's E3 Press Conference a new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens was shown, giving a bigger glimpse at the upcoming game, which features the signature humorous style of the LEGO game series. In addition to the trailer, it was announced at the Sony Conference that the game's demo is currently available as a free download from the PlayStation Store.

In the new extended gameplay trailer, the characters of LEGO: Star Wars The Force Awakens are voiced by their respective cast members from the film, including Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega. The trailer shows off the drama of The Force Awakens, starting with Rey traveling through the desert of Jakku with a voice over from the character Maz Kanata.

It's not long before the signature charm of the LEGO games takes over with Rey bringing an old tube television to junk dealer Unkar Plutt, while BB-8 pulls out a bouquet of flowers to woo the alien when Plutt asks to be sold the droid. From First Order Snowtroopers playing golf in the snow of Starkiller Base to Kylo Ren struggling to get his unique lightsaber to ignite, the LEGO games' humor and unique take of the events of The Force Awakens film shines.

Most of the trailer shows the events of the film, although the game will also feature what are called "New Adventures," additional story content that explains some of the events from The Force Awakens story, including Han Solo's encounter with and capture of the Rathtars that are onboard his ship in The Force Awakens movie when Rey and Finn come across Han and Chewbacca.

The trailer features mostly what appears to be cinematic story moments from the game instead of a large amount of actual gameplay, but it does also appear to show certain flying sections featuring Poe Dameron's X-Wing and the Resistance squadron, as well as the Millennium Falcon's escape from the First Order on Jakku. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is shaping up to be a fun game, especially for fans of Star Wars or LEGO games.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released June 28, 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita, and Nintendo DS.
