It won't be long now until dinosaur aficionados are hitting cinemas to get a glimpse of the long-awaited fourth entry in the Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. The new film is set to feature a ton of new prehistoric animals, and even one that was created for fun, but there will be more than just the new movie for fans to look forward to.

LEGO Jurassic World will be arriving on the same day as the corresponding motion picture, and Warner Bros. Interactive has released a brand new trailer that gives a tour of the forthcoming video game.

Filled with the trademark humor that that LEGO games are known for, viewers are quickly assured that the facilities are "completely safe." Watching a raptor pop a wheelie on a motorcycle may not back up that claim, but it's hilarious nonetheless. Of course, anyone that knows something about the plot of the original Jurassic Park trilogy can assume things will get out of hand, and it would be a boring game if that weren't the case.

As is evident by the new LEGO Jurassic World teaser, the landscape appears to be much more sprawling than past LEGO entries, which allows players to cruise around in some sort of transportation alongside many of the dinosaurs. Whether rolling around in a "gyrosphere" or puttering along in a tour bus, there certainly doesn't appear to be any shortage of vehicles for users to jump into.

Another feature that the trailer showcases is the ability for players to create their very own dinosaur – similarly to the genetically modified Indominus Rex that'll be wreaking havoc in the new film. Based on the brief glimpse of this 'Creation Lab', it doesn't appear that any dino mash-up is off the table, so it'll be interesting to see what fans piece together in the atrociously adorable mode.

All in all, it's set to be a big year for LEGO fans. With the likes of this Jurassic World tie-in, a new LEGO Marvel's Avengers game, and LEGO Dimensions all en route, there's a ton of content for consumers to spend their money on. Still, the opportunity to play through the original movies, as well as the forthcoming Jurassic World, is sure to be a tantalizing prospect for longtime fans of the series.

LEGO Jurassic World will be arriving on June 12, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
