Remember the days when you used to play with Legos, and sometimes you'd set up a reenactment of your favorite games or shows?

Those were the days, and while we can't return to the simplicity of yesteryear, we can certainly take a look at how Legos continue to be used to recreate the narratives of the current generation: with explosive effects, gore, and insane amounts of violence.

YouTube user Keshen8, an avid Lego enthusiast, has recreated the Call of Duty: Black Ops environment within the Lego realm - and it's pretty much exactly how you thought it would be - except probably even more violent. What better commemoration for the record-breaking franchise?

If words fail you, you're not alone. This is the most awesome, ridiculous Lego montage in recent memory - possibly ever. If this came out a few years back, it's hard to imagine that Jack Thompson wouldn't have had something to say about it. It's easy to appreciate the amount of production, and effort, that was put into the video. Maybe it's even given you the urge to go play a less-blocky version of Call of Duty: Black Ops on our television sets.

What do you think about the video? What other games would you like to see get the Lego treatment?
