The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is a classic game from the Wii that has been remastered in HD for the Nintendo Switch. Part of the game's charm comes from its memorable cast of quirky characters. One side character in particular that Legend of Zelda fans will recognize from other games is Beedle. In The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Beedle retains his role as a shopkeep offering a variety of strange yet useful knick-knacks. He's not exactly easy to reach though, so this guide will explain how to get to Beedle's Airshop.

Players will want to visit Beedle in the early hours of Skyward Sword. The merchant sells some vital equipment that is best picked up sooner rather than later. Most notably, the player can purchase a Bug Net and expansions for their Wallet and Adventure Pouch. Grabbing the Bug Net for only 50 Rupees should be a top priority, as catching bugs will earn the player enough profit to quickly afford Beedle's other merchandise.

How to Get to Beedle's Shop in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Beedle's Airshop roams around above Skyloft during the daytime. Players with a keen eye will spot the pedal-powered aircraft soon enough. It will also be visible and trackable from the map.

It may seem like Link will need to fly on a Loftwing to reach the shop, but that's not the case. To actually access the flying shop, players will have to use the Slingshot or another ranged item to ring the bell that hangs underneath the floating structure. Upon doing so, Beedle will drop a rope for Link to climb and wait for his patron to enter the store.

Players who have not yet obtained the Slingshot shouldn't fret. The tool will be obtained very soon after diving down to Hyrule for the first time. In the Faron Woods, players will undergo a quest to find the lost Kikwis around the forest. Upon completing that task, Link will obtain the Slingshot that will be useful for many trials to come.

If the player runs out of Deku Seeds to launch from the Slingshot, additional ammo can be harvested by selecting the Faron Woods Bird Statue save point as a diving destination and then harvesting from yellow fruit around the forest. Alternatively, Deku Seeds can simply be bought at the Bazaar in Skyloft.

Once players have reached Beedle and spent some time perusing his wares, it will be apparent how helpful the quirky merchant really is. He may not be the go-to guy when it comes to buying gear that will help against bosses in Skyward Sword, but his items are just as integral for Link's journey. Any Legend of Zelda fan will know that increased inventory space and an elusive Piece of Heart are well worth any asking price.
