Since its release earlier this year, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has not only captured the imagination of gamers from practically all walks of life, but also it has inspired some folks to create a slew of interesting and somewhat useful mods for the title, such as the master code mod that gives players the ability to spawn any item or character at any location. Now, though, one fan of the title has decided to inject a bit of streetwise attitude into Hyrule by making a mod that adds Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' protagonist Carl "CJ" Johnson into the action-adventure game.

As seen below in the modder and YouTuber WilianZilv's video, be it paragliding, sword handling, or shield surfing, CJ possesses every single one of Link's abilities, and executes them all in style while wearing a simple white tank top and pair of blue jeans. Without a doubt, this mod has the potential to inspire some incredibly fun pieces of fan art for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. For instance, just imagine the likes of Big Smoke as Daruk, Ryder as Revali, and Catalina as Princess Zelda, standing alongside CJ as Link and try not to smile.

Of course, should one wish to download and apply the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas CJ skin mod for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, WilianZilv has given fans the opportunity to do so. Fans can go right here at GameBanana to get the mod, but it must be noted that in order for it to work properly, the game must be played without any armors equipped to have CJ and his apparel show up on-screen.

While WilianZilv's CJ mod for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is definitely a worthwhile way for players of the game who have completed all of its challenges to pass the time, it's safe to say that a vast majority of fans are already champing at the bit for a direct followup to the title. However, the RPG's producer Eiji Aonuma has stated that a sequel is a ways off, so fans will need to make do with such silly diversions as CJ saving Hyrule for the time being.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available now for Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
