There are a lot of gamers paying tribute to The Legend of Zelda these days. No doubt the pending release of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has people paying attention. It could also be the fact that this year marks the franchise’s 25th anniversary, or that the series is just freaking fantastic! Today, Game Rant Picks offers up one woman’s musical tribute to Link’s many adventures.

If you’ve never heard of Lindsey Stirling then you might have not watched last Fall’s season of America’s Got Talent. Lindsey made it all the way to the quarterfinals before she was unfortunately voted off. This talented young woman is a violinist, music composer and performing artist now studying at Brigham Young University in Utah, but has been on the road performing in Las Vegas and at NBA half-time shows. Stirling has even opened up for or played with Sean Kingston, Donny Osmond, Allan Jackson, Shaun Barrowes, and Benton Paul — impressive resume, to say the least.

Since her run on AGT, Stirling has since become a solo artist. Where has her career led? To compose a Legend of Zelda medley, of course! This beautifully pieced-together song is set to a dance number in the woods, a “dungeon,” and the snow of “Hyrule.” The video was filmed by Devin Graham. The background orchestration was done by a one Stephen Anderson, with everything recorded by Dan Reyes-Cario.

You’ve never seen Link like this before! Watch, and listen, to the awesome Legend of Zelda violin medley below.
