The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Igoshon Shrine is one of several shrines that can be found floating on islands high above the surface world. Most players will likely stumble upon it while tackling one of the game's main story quests, and it's highly recommended that they complete the Igoshon Shrine to prepare themselves for what's to come.

This is because the Igoshon Shrine introduces a new mechanic that players will need to master in order to successfully navigate the Lanayru Great Spring Sky area. Thankfully, it's one of the more enjoyable shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, with just the right amount of challenge and a pretty decent chest reward to make it worth the player's while.

The Igoshon Shrine is in the Lanayru Great Spring Sky area, which players will visit as part of the Zora-themed section of the Regional Phenomena main story quest. It is possible to reach the area via other means, though this will require using a Zonai device and having a few additional Energy Cells. Players should come across the shrine naturally as they make their way toward the Water Temple, but for those who miss it, the coordinates for the Igoshon Shrine are 3479, 0667, 1325.

The Igoshon Shrine is designed around giant floating orbs of water, which Link is able to float around in. In the first room, players will simply need to jump inside one of these orbs as it floats upward, pressing X to dash out and deploy the glider once they're high enough to reach the nearby ledge. They'll then see an endlessly falling chest to their left, inside of which is a Large Zonai Charge. The intended strategy here is to use Recall on the nearby bubble so that the chest falls inside it, but, with the right timing, players can simply pluck the chest out of mid-air using Link's Ultrahand ability instead.

After opening the chest and claiming the reward inside, players can turn their attention to the right side of the platform, where they'll need to use Link's Recall ability on the falling water orb to rewind its momentum and then ride it up to the platform above. They'll then be able to ride the horizontally floating orb that comes out of the wall in this upper area across a large gap toward the shrine's statue room and the final puzzle of the Igoshon Shrine.

In this area, players will need to use Link's Ultrahand ability to move the sliding block on the rail to the right so that it lines up with the bubble launcher on the nearby wall. They'll then want to pick up the nearby plank, again, using Ultrahand, and place it onto the moving block to form a ramp. Finally, players should stand at the top of their makeshift ramp and wait for an orb of water to come toward them. When it does, they can jump inside and ride the orb all the way to the statue to collect its Light of Blessing.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
