The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Yansamin Shrine is a proving grounds shrine, meaning that players will need to demonstrate their mastery of the game's combat system in order to emerge victorious. There are quite a lot of enemies that need to be defeated here, but only one that's likely to cause players any real trouble.

One thing that can complicate matters a little is the low gravity inside the shrine, though savvy players should be able to find ways to use this to their advantage. For those who do, this can actually end up being one of the easier proving grounds shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Yansamin Shrine Location

The Yansamin Shrine is on the Zonaite Forge Island, which is in the East Necluda Sky region between the Great Sky Island and the South Lanayru Sky Archipelago. Upon reaching the island, players will need to interact with the Zonai gate near the locked entrance, then head up to the top of the forge using Link's Paraglider together with the hot air from the now-activated smoke stacks. Once there, they can drop down to the area below, being sure to dodge all of the red lasers as they fall. The coordinates for the Yansamin Shrine are 2351, -1783, 1475.

Yansamin Shrine Walkthrough

The Yansamin Shrine plays with the idea of low gravity, which can be both a blessing and a curse. It's great for attacking enemies from above but can make dodging a little ineffective due to how slowly Link moves while in the air. Thankfully, there's only really one troublesome enemy, which players should aim to take out last once they've better armed themselves. With this in mind, they should start by climbing up onto the large platform to their left.

After taking out the Soldier Construct here and looting its remains, players should fuse one of the two rockets to their shield and then hold ZL to activate the rocket and propel high Link into the air. They'll then want to glide their way over to the highest platform, attacking the enemy on it from above. As they work their way down from platform to platform, they'll eventually come to one with a Zonai Beam Emitter, which they can use to take out the three enemies off in the distance.

At this point, there should only be one enemy left, which just so happens to be directly below the platform with the Zonai Beam Emitter. If players have arrows, they should glide down and shoot at one of the explosive red barrels to easily take out the Soldier Construct there. If not, they can simply walk off the edge of the platform that they're on while holding the beam emitter and use it to take out the construct, being sure to move from left to right to avoid its arrows where needed.

Once the final enemy is down, players can head through to the statue room, where they'll find a chest containing one Large Zonaite as well as that all-important Light of Blessing. Upon exiting the shrine, they may want to consider grabbing the Zonaite Waistguard from the nearby chest if they haven't already, as the Zonaite Armor is arguably the best armor set in Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
