As most fans await any more news on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, Nintendo was able to satiate many fans with the recent release of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for the Switch. The remaster of the Wii exclusive saw Skyward Sword transition to traditional controls alongside numerous other quality of life improvements. With Skyward Sword given the chance to make a better impression, figurine manufacturer Good Smile Company is taking the chance to reintroduce an old figure.

Good Smile Company confirms that it will be rereleasing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Link Figma figurine. The announcement tweet confirms that this will be the fourth rerelease of the Skyward Sword Figma Link, although this time to play on the renewed interest in Skyward Sword.

The Figma Link will cost $68.99 with an estimated shipping date of September 2022. While the price is high for a rerelease, the Skyward Sword Figma Link is a popular Zelda item with some considering it a must have gift for any Zelda fan. As with Figma models, buyers will have a lot of options on how best to show off their Link through numerous poses and additional accents. Good Smile's official listing notes that the figurine will come with a "gallant expression" and "powerful shouting face" alongside the Master Sword and Hylian Shield, both of which can be carried on Link's back.

The news of the Skyward Sword Figma Link's rerelease comes as the second big piece of Figma related news in July. Earlier this month, Good Smile Company confirmed the Doom Slayer will be getting the same treatment with a Figma Doom Slayer set to unleash hell soon. Figma figurines have always been a popular option for fans of gaming merchandise, leaning in on Good Smile's style of customization for both poses and accessories.

Yet this is not the only rerelease Good Smile is planning as the company also announced another Link figurine would be making a comeback. The other rerelease will also be based on Skyward Sword's Link with a 1/7 scale statue coming back up for preorder. This Link statue will set buyers back considerably more as the figurine will cost $171.99 which is over double what the Figma Link is going for. While expensive, it still doesn't come close to the cost of manufacturer Prime 1's statue output which can cost upwards of $1000.

The Skyward Sword Figma Link is available for preorder now on the official Good Smile Company website. This is a limited preorder period which will end on September 1 so those interested should swoop in now and order before the Hero of the Sky disappears again.
