The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was a hit with players as it marked the return of the beloved franchise while adding fresh elements to intrigue newcomers. As a result, Zelda: Breath of the Wild became a critical success and managed to keep players entertained for a long time because of its open-world gameplay. However, some fans have used the game to inspire activities in real life and recently a player began reconstructing a temple from the game in meticulous detail.
The Zelda games have had a huge impact on the RPG genre and each game has encouraged players to explore as Link and face new mystic foes. The series has a large fan base because of the quality of the games and the fact that they have helped shaped role-playing games as they are known today. While there have been plenty of fan tributes to Zelda, few will have taken the time and care that YouTuber Gaa has given in creating Temple of Time.
The YouTuber detailed how they took the initial measurements for the temple and they used the game to help them get the scale. After this, the talented model creator used screenshots and began making an exact miniature replica of one of the first temples that Link encounters in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Once the creator had all the correct measurements they began using polystyrene to create the walls and structure of the building and started painting sections. YouTuber Gaa than used wood for the frame of the temple and built up the model much like a real-life building.
The result of this hard work is an incredibly accurate model that is 1/150 the size of the original Temple of Time. The YouTuber has also extended their skills to other statues but many will feel that this is one of the most impressive pieces. Fans will be interested to see if the modeler will make more Zelda based temples and if so how ambitious the projects will be in the future. However, for now, most will marvel at the time and effort taken to create one of the most impressive Zelda based fan creations.
Despite Zelda: Breath of the Wild being released three years ago, the game appears to have an enduring shelf-life through its fans and their creations. It is impressive that the world of Breath of the Wild is still being enjoyed by fans and incredible models, like this one, show just how much the players appreciate the game.
