Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a game that offers players enough freedom that the community will likely be coming up with new solutions to puzzles and battles for years to come. Many speed runners have been finding ways to cut down on the game's play time and one player who likes to find the fastest way through each temple has even managed to clear the Wild Agana Apparatus Shrine puzzle in just over twenty seconds thanks to an iconic Link trick.

Most Nintendo fans will be familiar with the old Zelda cartoon gif that shows Link shield jumping over a bomb and using the explosion to propel himself through the air. The gif has become incredibly popular over the years and now a Breath of the Wild player has managed to utilize the technique to speed run through a temple.

Before we break down each step, here's a video of Adrylek pulling off the precise stunt...

To recreate the temple speed run, players will need to be incredibly precise with their jumping skills. To ensure you get a high enough jump off of the bomb, you'll need to mash the jump button right as you land on it. The timing here needs to be exact and will be the hardest part of this stunt to master. After the jump has been mastered, just be sure to remember to remove your shield before you start gliding. It sounds simple enough, but as you might expect, the timing makes this a feat that only very dedicated players will be able to pull off.

What do you think of this method for skipping the temple puzzle? Have you tried to recreate it? Let us know in the comments.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available now on Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
