In Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it's pretty much the world versus Link. The wildlife chase each other around a bit and Bokoblin will hunt down boar, but in general the bad guys don't really fight each other. At least not usually. That said, it seems that Breath of the Wild players can turn a Stone Talus against a Guardian given some careful planning.

There are lots of big bad enemies roaming around the open world in Breath of the Wild, but early in the game the Guardian and the Stone Talus are two of the scariest to stumble upon. These enemies become less troublesome a few dozen hours in when Link equipped with the right weapons and strategy, but they still have high hit point pools and powerful weapons. As it turns out, that makes for a pretty great game of 'Who would win in a fight?'

The following showdown took place after the Stone Talus attacked Link, but also hit a stunned Guardian in the process. These assault seems to have aggro'd the downed Guardian and then the two behemoths stopped caring about Link and began to brawl with each other. As you might expect, the results were pretty entertaining...

Games like Fallout 4 make it very easy to see massive battles between two enemy factions thanks to mod control, but players rarely have that kind of control over the environment or the AI in a Nintendo game outside of Mario Maker. The limitless entertainment available in Breath of the Wild continues to amaze and we look forward to seeing the community come up with more of these bizarre encounters in the future.
