Last week we told you about the comic for the upcoming Left 4 Dead 2 DLC, 'The Sacrifice.' This week part two, centering around Zoey and her back story, was released for free on the Left 4 Dead website.

Fans of the series can now download the first two parts of the comic for the wonderful price of free, and as a thanks to the community for all their support, multiple versions of the comic will available in the near future.

The L4D teams says:

"This will include the current version in jpg form, a pdf version, a jpg version with no text and a jpg version with no text, speech bubbles or sound effects. This should help get the comic localized and give people the raw panels to play with and make their own comic."

For L4D fans, having an awesome comic to compliment an already awesome game – which you can see in our review – would be good enough, but the ability to create your own comic is pretty epic. Exciting news since I'm sure Left 4 Dead fanatics will craft both interesting and hilarious dialogue for 'the Sacrifice' comic - and share with the community. The L4D team continued on to say they "will make sure to link to the best ones," and I'm very interested to see what the creative minds of the L4D community come up with.

Ranters are you excited for being able to create your own dialogue in this L4D comic?

At this point we still don't have a release date for the 'The Sacrifice' DLC, but if the release dates of the comics are any indication, the DLC could launch as soon as October 12. That's purely speculation, so we'll make sure to keep you guys updated when we hear a definite release date. Left 4 Dead 2 'The Sacrifice' will be available for Steam and Xbox 360 sometime in October.
