Modder Molkifier creates a strange new mod for Left 4 Dead 2 that replaces the in-game graffiti with various Twitter quotes from actor and rapper Jaden Smith.

Left 4 Dead 2 has sold millions of copies, won numerous industry awards, and earned very positive review scores. But what is the one thing it's missing that could make it even better? Apparently, modder Molkifier believes that what Left 4 Dead 2 really needs is some philosophical quotes from Jaden Smith's Twitter account, and so he's added them to the game.

After installing the mod, players will find that the in-game graffiti no longer features cryptic warnings or desperate cries for help, but rather, Jaden Smith quotes. Smith's quotes are both comical and philosophical in nature, with such hits as, "How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't real?" and "If a book store never runs out of a certain book, does that mean that nobody reads it, or everybody reads it?"

The Jaden Smith mod for Left 4 Dead 2 is popular so far, with many positive comments about it on Steam. It may not be as complicated or impressive as, say, the Kokiri Forest Zelda mod for Left 4 Dead 2, but as far as mods go, it's still rather creative. Perhaps this positive buzz for the Jaden Smith mod will be enough for lapsed Left 4 Dead 2 to return to the game to check it out.

Recent Left 4 Dead 2 Mod is Very Weird - Jaden Smith school quote

Even if one doesn't decide to download this amusing Left 4 Dead 2 mod, becoming familiar with Jaden Smith's quotes may be inevitable for gamers. As it turns out, the recently delayed No Man's Sky will use Smith's quotes in an official capacity, as they have a chance to appear onscreen after players die. According to No Man's Sky developer Sean Murray, these Jaden Smith quotes were added to the game to avoid coming across as pretentious, as all the other quotes are from notable scholars and scientists.

If Jaden Smith quotes prove to be popular with No Man's Sky players and Left 4 Dead 2 enthusiasts, perhaps Valve will consider incorporating them in the rumored Left 4 Dead 3. Valve is known for its sense of humor and stuffing its games full of Easter Eggs, and so it's not out of the question that we would see Jaden Smith quotes in Left 4 Dead 3 if this mod catches on with the community.

Of course, there's a possibility that Left 4 Dead 3 doesn't event exist, so hopefully the modding community continues to create content like this for the older Left 4 Dead games in the meantime. Goofy mods like this Jaden Smith one could go a long way in keeping the gaming community engaged with Left 4 Dead 2, and may be enough to keep fans entertained while they wait patiently for a brand new entry in the franchise.

Left 4 Dead 2 is available now for PC and Xbox 360.
