Even after over 10 years, League of Legends still remains a pillar in the PC gaming ecosystem. With Season 10 of League of Legends coming to a close in the next few weeks, the game is still going strong with continuous updates to content and champions.

However, one of the newest champions, Seraphine, is causing a bit of stir among the community. League of Legends players have discovered a glitch with one of Seraphine’s abilities that, in the right hands, could prove wildly unfair to any opponent playing against her.

For those who may have missed Seraphine’s inclusion, she was added to League of Legends’ roster a few weeks ago during her testing phase and is now officially available as of October 28. In terms of in-game lore, Seraphine is a songstress collaborating with League of Legends’ K/DA K-pop group. However, now that Seraphine is in player’s hands many have noticed that there is a pretty unfair glitch plaguing one of Seraphine’s abilities. The glitch in question involves Seraphine’s Ultimate, Encore, as well as the use of the Flash summoner spell.

Seraphine’s Encore Ultimate ability sends a wave of damage out that hits enemies in a straight line. However, when players use the Flash spell at the same time as Seraphine’s Encore, the path that the damaging wave follows changes and becomes invisible. While League’s display shows the line that Seraphine’s Ultimate will follow, if she uses flash at the same time the move becomes incredibly difficult for enemies to predict and avoid. Considering Flash is one of the most useful summoner spells, this glitch could prove incredibly unfair in online matches.

This glitch in Seraphine’s move set was only just discovered, seeing as she was only added to the full roster a few days ago. As such, it may take a bit of time before Riot catches wind of the glitch and patches it out of the game. Unfortunately, this was not the only issue players had with Seraphine’s release. Many members of the League of Legends community and fans found Seraphine’s lore disappointing in the weeks leading up to her full release.

The main criticisms from Seraphine’s lore came from her lack of presence in the larger world of Runeterra, with many considering her story a completely missed opportunity. Thankfully, Riot has confirmed that Seraphine’s lore will be fixed to better flesh out her character and the world of League of Legends. Of course, now that leaves Seraphine’s actual move set to be tweaked and fixed as well. Hopefully Riot will provide a fix for Seraphine’s Encore Ultimate glitch as it will with the issues surrounding Seraphine’s lore.
