League of Legends has teamed up with Nerf to create a limited edition version of Fishbones, Jinx's iconic rocket launcher from the game and animated series. The product, which was unveiled on the official League of Legends YouTube channel, is now available for pre-order.

Since her release in 2013, Jinx has become one of the most iconic champions featured within League of Legends, being a fan favorite and appearing often on promotional material and in trailers. In 2021, following the release of League of Legends' animated series, Arcane, there was another surge in popularity for Jinx and her in-lore sister, Vi. However, fans were quick to find that there was initially very little merchandise available for those wanting to show their support and appreciation for the series, considering Arcane recently won 4 Emmys from 5 nominations at the 74th Primetime awards.

Teaming up with Nerf, the team behind League of Legends now present fans with a pricey solution in the form of Jinx's very own Fishbones rocket launcher from the game and series. Retailing at $170 as part of the Nerf LMTD series, the iconic weapon features a 18-dart drum and fires three foam bullets at a time. Jinx's trusty weapon is currently available to pre-order exclusively on Amazon until January 3, 2023, though it will not ship until December 1, 2023, making it a great next-Christmas-gift for fans awaiting a second season of Arcane. The weapon, which is more for display than constant use, measures an astounding 35" in length and features posable jaws.

Though avid cosplayers have been designing their own Jinx guns for almost a decade at this point, including her other weapons Pow-Pow, Zapper, and Mr Sparkles, this official collaboration between League of Legends and Nerf finally gives fans the chance to get their hands on an official Fishbones and support the teams behind League of Legends and Arcane in the process. However, the hefty $170 price tag will likely limit purchases to only the most avid fans of the character as opposed to newcomers to League of Legends.

Nonetheless, with a second season of Arcane on the horizon and Jinx set to return as a major antagonistic presence, more serious fans of League of Legends and Jinx will likely be desperate to get their hands on a Fishbones of their very own, while supplies last.

League of Legends is available now for Mac and PC.
