Miss Fortune has been with League of Legends for ten years now and she remains very popular. She doesn’t fit a particular role, but her generalist nature and powerful ultimate allow her to step in where needed and provide some serious firepower, especially in team fights.

Because of this, she can be tailored to many different playstyles which is part of why she’s so popular in this multiplayer game. If you’re interested in trying out this Bounty Hunter here are some popular builds to get you started.

10 Tank Support

This build for Miss Fortune is fairly straightforward as it helps your tanks by slowing the enemy in exchange for their protection, since you’ll be a glass cannon. Frozen Mallet is a must for the slow effect and the much needed HP.

In the beginning dump points into Double Up to really bulldoze clusters of enemies, at level eight start dumping points into Strut to help you kite enemies while your tank tackles them, and start seriously upgrading Make It Rain at level 14. Glacial Augment helps a lot with this.

9 Fat Fortune

This is more of an experimental build that really struggles in the early game, but can be very annoying for the enemy in the mid to late-game. In the beginning put points into Strut to really boost movement speed to avoid enemies while you hunt minions with last hit, at level seven-ish put a few points in Double Up, then at level 14 alternate between Make It Rain and Bullet Time.

In the beginning, you’re largely avoiding fights or you’re helping another teammate take down enemies faster. In the end, when you’re skills are up and you have items like Bloodthirster and Black Cleaver, you’re relying on massive DPS from Make It Rain and your ultimate to keep health topped off.

8 Rampage

This is an ADC build that synergizes well with durable champions like Blitzcrank by doing a ton of damage with items like Blade of The Ruined King, Black Cleaver, or Mortal Reminder. Press the Attack rune is absolutely necessary.

For abilities you want to start with Double Up, then about level eight switch to Strut and at level 14 focus on Make It Rain. You’ll spend most of your time accompanying a tank and providing brutal DPS while they keep the enemy busy.

7 Miss Carry Your Team

For the most part this build is meant to capitalize on the team fights that happen in mid-game by using impressive DPS and health steal to stay alive. Press The Attack, Conqueror, and Overheal are powerful runes for this build.

Focus on Double Up at first, switch to Strut at level seven, back to Double Up at level 12, and then Make It Rain at level 14. You want to exploit Double Up opportunities as much as possible to damage enemy opponents. Then later utilize Make It Rain and Bullet Time to wreck opponents while your team keeps them distracted. Never be solo, even in the mid/late game, as you are very fragile.

6 Standard ADC

Miss Fortune Blowing On Her Pistol After Using HerUltimate

This bears many similarities to other builds, but focuses more on last hit kills and ganks to serve your team. Legend Bloodline requires you to do this to get stacks to boost damage and Coup De Grace helps you get those kills when champions are wounded.

Standard ability distribution of Double Up first, Strut at level eight, Make It Rain at level 14. High attack speed is critical for those last hits so get Berserker’s Greaves and Rapid Firecannon. Then start picking off weak units to stack Legends before delivering the Coup De Grace on enemy champions.

5 The Bounty Hunter

This build makes Miss Fortune very strong in the early game through tower farming and a focus on poking. Duskblade of Draktharr is key to poking and Guardian Angel for surviving team fights. Most of your work will be done in the early game, mid/late-game you’ll be lending aid to team fights.

Start putting points in Double Up until level eight or so then focus on Make It Rain, then switch to Strut at level 14. Movement speed isn’t as critical considering you’ll spend most of it tower farming. You want to get strong quickly and harass opponents in the early to mid-game.

4 Kawaii Bunny

This build has you focus on becoming a powerful team fighter through ADC. Dark Harvest, Cheap Shot, and Eyeball Collection help you take down enemy champions and grow stronger with each fallen body. Essence Reaver helps you use your abilities more often and Rapid Firecannon lets you keep up the pain with your basic.

Standard ability allocation with Double Up until level seven or nine, then switch to Strut until level 14 where you switch to Make It Rain. Stick with your teammates, focus on champion kills, and you’ll be a powerful ADC.

3 Crit & Lethality

This is a fun build that works surprisingly well on standard matches, but will likely struggle in ranked matches. Your goal, in the beginning, is to farm minions before pushing hard in the mid-game. The end-game is where you’ll shine.

Standard ability distribution, Youmuu’s Ghostblade, and Duskblade of Draktharr are key for lethality, then Grasp of the Undying for incredible DPS in long fights and enhanced sustainability. Overgrowth is also important for getting stronger while you’re minion farming.

2 Miss Letalithy

This build sets you up to evaporate your foes with great timing and a one-shot ultimate. The key to this build is to obliterate foes with that one hit or you’re going to die quickly when they recover. Dark Harvest, Cheap Shot, and Coup De Grace help with the one-shot, and Ravenous Hunter helps you stay alive until you can use it.

Abilities alternate between Double Up and Strut with Make It Rain being reserved for level 14. Stick with a teammate for the entire game. You need there help setting up the one shot and you’ll definitely need it if something survives.

1 Wanted Dead Or Alive

This is your typical team-based Marksman build, but a powerful one as you get more dangerous the longer the game goes. Many of the aforementioned tactics apply here such as tower farming, poking, and other ADC behavior. The main difference is to steal monster objectives using your ultimate and doing turret takedowns.

Standard ability allocation, Infinity Edge to milk Critical Strikes, Essence Reaver to keep pausing abilities, and attack speed boosting items like Berserker's Greaves and Rapid Firecannon are recommended. Early game you’re farming minions in the bot lane, mid-game you switch to objective stealing and assisting team fights, late-game you’re focusing on tower takedowns.
