As the main protagonist of both The Last of Us and The Last of Us 2, it's no wonder that Ellie gets as much attention as she does. Though she played a supporting role for the most part in the original game, the sequel sees her step forward and take the lead.

Though it hinted at her ability to survive and showed clearly that she would do whatever it takes in order to do just that, it wasn't until the sequel that fans saw that she could be just as ruthless in her pursuit of revenge.

The user's comment about how her feelings about the game keep changing is likely in response to the controversy surrounding it. Between The Last of Us 2's trailers, massive story leaks, and a successful but divisive release, there is no shortage of controversy for this game. She does say that regardless of how she feels about it, it certainly left an impression, which is something which most can agree with.
