L.A. Noire is one of the best detective games ever made. The story behind the game's development might've been a troubled one, but there's no denying the fact that the title still wowed fans upon launch. The realistic facial captures and engaging investigative gameplay made for a great time indeed.

One thing that fans of L.A. Noire would've definitely noticed is the sheer number of actors appearing in the game who've featured in the show Mad Men as well. This riveting drama focused on the life of Don Draper and his colleagues in an advertising agency during the 60s and 70s. It's a great show, and the following actors have the distinguished honor of appearing in both the game and the series!

10 Vincent Kartheiser — Walter Clemens (L.A. Noire) And Pete Campbell (Mad Men)

Vincent Kartheiser

Pete Campbell is a character everyone loves to hate in Mad Men. He's a slimy weasel who always looks out for himself and even tries to sell out Don at one point.

During one of the arson cases in L.A. Noire, players interact with a suspect by the name of Walter Clemens, portrayed by the same actor who played Pete in Mad Men. While he appears suspicious, it's revealed that his history of arson had no bearing on the current case and he was let go.

9 Patrick Fischler — Mickey Cohen (L.A. Noire) And Jimmy Barret (Mad Men)

Patrick Fischler

The eccentric celebrity that is Jimmy Barret is another enigma from Mad Men. He's not exactly the most likable character around, which is why most people didn't really feel sorry for him when Don slept with his wife.

In L.A. Noire, Patrick Fischler reappears as real-life gangster Mickey Cohen. His on-screen presence is captivating and makes for one of the more memorable parts of the game.

8 Rich Sommer — John Cunningham (L.A. Noire) And Harry Crane (Mad Men)

Rich Sommer

It's surprising just how many lecherous and unlikable men are present in Mad Men. Harry Crane is one such individual who is absolutely despicable, with Rich Sommer's impressive performance making this character even more despicable.

In L.A. Noire, Sommer plays the role of John Cunningham. He's a part of the travel agency that players visit for a case at one point during the events of the game.

7 Michael Gladis — Dudley Lynch (L.A. Noire) And Paul Kinsley (Mad Men)

Michael Gladis

Paul Kinsley is a character who gets the short end of the stick in Mad Men. After being left behind by Don, he tried his hand out at several other agencies before becoming a member of the Hare Krishna sect.

Michael Gladis does a great job of playing Kinsley's role, and he shines once again as Dudley Lynch in L.A. Noire. His role as a bartender ends up taking a turn for the worse when he kills a man in an act of self-defense and is subsequently hauled off into the police station by Cole Phelps.

6 Joseph Culp — Walter Robbins (L.A. Noire) And Archie Whitman (Mad Men)

Joseph Culp

Don's previous life as Dick Whitman was a life full of struggles. This was mainly due to his alcoholic father Archie Whitman, who met an unfortunate end in front of his son after getting kicked in the head by a horse.

Joseph Culp shines in this role and does a great job of portraying Walter Robbins in L.A. Noire as well. He's an instrumental person of interest during the Black Dahlia murders and gives details on one of the victims, Evelyn Summers.

5 Andy Umberger — Malcolm Carruthers (L.A. Noire) And Arnold Wayne (Mad Men)

Andy Umberger

Betty's psychiatrist plays a minor but notable role in the events of Mad Men. Andy Umberger is a great actor who plays the role of Arnold Wayne to a T.

This actor also plays a major role in L.A. Noire as the coroner with who Phelps interacts regularly over the course of the game. He might not have the most important role around, but he still appears frequently enough regardless.

4 Ryan Cutrona — William Worrell (L.A. Noire) And Eugene Hofstadt (Mad Men)

Ryan Cutrona

Betty Draper's father wasn't exactly the greatest man around, but watching his mind slowly deteriorate is still painful regardless. Ryan Cutrona does a brilliant job of portraying a man whose aging mind ends up breaking down completely.

He players the role of William Worrell, the Chief of Police in L.A. Noire. Players won't really remember this character fondly, given that he was the person who ended up demoting Phelps in the game!

3 Julie McNiven — Ruth Douglas (L.A. Noire) And Hildy (Mad Men)

Julie McNiven

Julie McNiven doesn't have the most important role in Mad Men. She plays the role of Pete's secretary Hildy, who gets mistreated all the time by her unlikable superior.

2 Audrey Wasilewski — Jennifer Horgan (L.A. Noire) And Anita Olson Respola (Mad Men)

Audrey Wasilewski

Peggy Olson is one of the best characters in Mad Men. However, just like most characters in the show, her family isn't particularly supportive, with her crass sister being a great example of the same.

Audrey Wasilewski excels in the role of Anita Olson Respola, and she does the same as Jennifer Horgan in L.A. Noire as well. She appears as the neighbor of a murder victim in the case "The Red Lipstick Murder".

1 Aaron Staton — Cole Phelps (L.A. Noire) And Ken Cosgrove (Mad Men)

Aaron Staton

Of course, it would be impossible to talk about actors in both L.A. Noire and Mad Men without mentioning Aaron Staton. His role as Ken Cosgrove is pretty engaging, but it's his presence as the lead of L.A. Noire that makes him such a captivating figure.

Staton's acting breathes new life into both roles, with his performance as Cole Phelps being absolutely incredible. Ever after finishing L.A. Noire, the story of its protagonist will live long in the hearts of fans.
