Knock At The Cabin marked a triumphant return for director M. Night Shyamalan, delivering on the tension that the trailers (and Shyamalan's track record) promised. The film is an adaptation of Paul Tremblay's The Cabin at the End of the World, and follows a group of strangers who show up at the door of a vacationing family and tell them that they must make a difficult choice in order to stop the apocalypse. It has been well-received by audiences and is a tense, slow-building ride, showing off the range of the cast in the ways they inhabit their characters.

The cast is actually one of the big draws of the film, as it is not only perfectly assembled, but includes a few big names that viewers might recognize from other projects. It also includes actors whose work is not as widely known but is just as interesting and worth a watch. The cast works so well together, and so believably portray all of their individual characters, it would be great to see this film really launch them into new areas of their careers. Here are the past and future projects of the cast of Knock At The Cabin, and where else they can be seen on screen.

Dave Bautista

Dave Bautista, of course, is known for his career in the WWE, but his film career has also really blown up in recent years. He is likely known to most audiences as Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy (as well as various other MCU projects), or as Diaz in Riddick. Recently, he played Duke Cody in Glass Onion, Rian Johnson's Knives Out sequel, as well as Glossu Rabban Harkonnen in Dune. Knock At The Cabin is a bit of a departure for Bautista from his typical style of roles, but it's clear that he wants to branch out and really show off his range.

Rupert Grint

Rupert Grint is definitely most known for playing everyone's favorite redhead, Ron Weasley, in the Harry Potter franchise. Since handing in his wand, Grint has gone on to do a number of interesting projects, including the TV series Snatch, where he plays one of the lead characters, as well as an episode of Guillermo Del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities. He has also recently been working with Shyamalan on the Apple+ series Servant, which is in the midst of airing its fourth season.

Nikki Amuka-Bird

Amuka-Bird has also previously worked with M. Night Shyamalan, as she played Patricia in Old. She has quite a range of credits under her belt, and can also be seen in Jupiter Ascending and The Omen. She had a stint on the TV show Luther, appearing in 8 episodes, and appeared in an episode of Doctor Who in its eleventh season. She has also, interestingly, been in a few literary period dramas, including Persuasion (2022) as Lady Russell and The Personal History of David Copperfield as Mrs. Steerforth.

Abby Quinn

Besides playing Adriene in Knock At The Cabin, Quinn has appeared in Radium Girls, Little Women (2019), and I'm Thinking of Ending Things. She starred in the film Landline - a coming-of-age film about two sisters in 1990s New York who discover their father's affair - alongside Jenny Slate, as well as an episode of Better Call Saul (Season 4, Episode 10: "Winner"). She also played Meryl in the Jodie Foster-directed episode of Black Mirror titled "Arkangel".

Jonathan Groff

Jonathan Groff has had some pretty major roles over the years, including King George III in Hamilton, Smith in The Matrix Resurrections, and Jesse St. James on Glee. He plays the lead role in the acclaimed Netflix series Mindhunter, and (perhaps most notably) is the voice of Kristoff in Frozen and Frozen 2. Besides his appearance in Hamilton, he's had a prolific career on the theatrical stage, including Spring Awakening and, recently, the off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors.

Ben Aldridge

He had a leading role in the series Our Girl, as well as a stint on Fleabag as "Arsehole Guy". He is also known for his role as Thomas Wayne (that's right, Batman's dad) in the DC show Pennyworth. Though he's had a prolific television career, he has also started appearing in a number of major films, most notably 2022's Spoiler Alert, a queer Christmas rom-com that also stars Jim Parsons.
