Nintendo announced this past week that they would be giving current 3DS owners a total of 20 free games in an attempt to avoid displeasing customers - after announcing a price drop for the under-performing portable. The 20 free games in question will consist of 10 games from Nintendo's first console the NES, while the second half will be made-up of Game Boy Advance titles.

The games that have been currently been announced aren't too bad either, and it includes the likes of: Metroid Fusion, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Mario Kart Super Circuit, WarioWare Inc.: Mega Microgame$, and Mario vs. Donkey Kong.

Nintendo apparently didn't feel the need to announce the other five Game Boy Advance titles, which has lead many to speculate on which games they could be. Today, however, there are two less games to speculate about, because Nintendo World Report has confirmed the identity of two more GBA titles that will be part of the Nintendo Ambassador initiative. Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 and Kirby & the Amazing Mirror will both be made available to Nintendo 3DS owners later this year for the low, low price of free.

The confirmation of the games came from Nintendo of America's very own Customer Service, so it's safe to assume that these GBA titles will indeed be coming to the 3DS. Both games were amongst the most highly sought after titles to be made available for free, and it's nice to see that Nintendo isn't holding back on offering some of the best games from the Game Boy Advance library to early adopters of their struggling handheld.

There are still five more NES and three GBA titles that haven't been revealed as part of Nintendo's 3DS incentive, but since the NES titles are supposed to become available for download this September a full list of free games should be made public sooner rather than later.

What do you think of the two latest Game Boy Advance titles added to the Nintendo Ambassador program? Which other GBA titles would you like to see on 3DS?
