Kirby fans have a lot to celebrate as new merch of the round, pink Smash Bros. star is popping up everywhere. Earlier this summer, Kirby lovers got fancy jewelry, and now they can get an exclusive Bandai loot box featuring item usually only available in Japanese lotteries.
Just like pachinko parlors, Japanese lottery-style "sure-win," lucky draw games are extremely popular there, but are starting to be available in the US. Sites are bringing the so-called Ichiban Kuji lottery to the states. There are usually some exclusive items that can only be won through the lottery systems, and those are usually themed around cute Japanese games, pop culture, and anime, like Pokemon and Kirby.
This Bandai box by Banpresto contains just such lottery-exclusive loot featuring Kirby. These boxes will be $29.99 USD and available for pre-order online only through July 22nd to August 31st, 2020. They are slated to be shipped sometime in January of next year, and will be stuffed with figurines, keychains, and other goodies that fans can grab for themselves.
These loot boxes are focused around Kirby and his friends in adorable hats, including a beautiful blanket, adorable figurines, and a plushie. All these items look like something any Kirby fan would love to get in the mail.
