While there are many Kirby titles, the series has sadly never commanded the same scale as other mainline Nintendo titles. The leak of a non-released Kirby game has piqued some interest, but not as much as a Mario or Legend of Zelda might have. Those who are interested in the series though, tend to make videos about it

While Kirby games are relatively simple, many fans often praise them imaginative levels, a grand scale, and some real flash under the surface, but it's the oddly unknowable parts of the games that draw attention for some people. There are some pretty elaborate theories worked out surrounding Kirby.

There's a surprising amount of mystery surrounding Kirby's universe. While this has not extended to something as strange as a Kirby/Fortnite crossover, it's gone some weird places. A lot of this centers around Kirby himself, who is not exactly a conventional hero. Some wonder if he does more harm than good across the games. One Youtube channel, Dumbest Of All Worlds, set out to find out how much Kirby sucks; both physically and as a hero. The results are not flattering for the pink puffball.

Using math, video host Michal Miexriir proves that Kirby's lungpower (his titanic inhale) could provide a ton of electric power using wind turbines. Connoisseurs of Kirby's titles will know this is not how he spends his time. Instead, Kirby tends to laze around all day until a major crisis interrupts his nap or meal, at which point he sets out to reclaim his lost relaxation.

While the video's tone is full-on comedic (and made with the purpose of getting Kirby out of Super Smash Bros), it's hard to deny what it says about Kirby's motivation. In fact, while it's not true in games like Kirby Star Allies, in other titles Kirby actually contributes to the problem. In Kirby's Return to Dreamland, Kirby helps the character who turns out to be the game's main villain.

This is hardly the first time Youtube experts have attempted to measure Kirby's infinite power. Wiz and Boomstick from the show Death Battle have attempted a similar measurement, finding that Kirby was capable of some utterly bonkers feats. With all the nonsense Kirby manages in his existing games, it makes one wonder what would have happened in all the canceled Kirby titles.

Still, while he may not be a true hero, it's hard to deny Kirby is a fun force of destruction. At least, for the most part. Games like Super Kirby Clash with its microtransactions hint at a much darker version of what Kirby could be. Let's hope it is never fully realized.
