Kirby and the Forgotten Land is the latest Kirby action-adventure title from Nintendo, and it's out on the Switch on March 25, 2022. What sets this Kirby game apart from previous titles in the franchise is that it is fully 3D. And while Kirby still has access to the Copy abilities fans will recognize, there's a new feature called Mouthful Mode, allowing Kirby to partially inhale inanimate objects, such as a traffic cone, a vending machine, or a light bulb. These transformations help Kirby get through light puzzles, defeat certain enemies, and progress through the game's many stages.

For Kirby enthusiasts interested in knowing how long it takes to beat Kirby and the Forgotten Land, this guide will go into detail on what to expect before diving in. With plenty of other AAA games releasing on the same day as Kirby and the Forgotten Land, it might be worth knowing how much time players will have to invest.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land may be a simple, breezy experience (especially if players are avoiding the game's hard mode), but that doesn't mean it won't take a good chunk of time to fully complete. According to the Kirby and the Forgotten Land review from Shacknews, each stage in the game will take most players about 5-10 minutes to complete, but these can be replayed to collect all there is collect. For completionists looking to 100% this game, expect to spend about 15 to 20 hours, give or take.

And once players beat the game, they'll have access to a New Game Plus mode. Nintendo hasn't confirmed how the mode will work, but playing through that will certainly give players even more game time with the iconic pink puffball.

There's also the Waddle Dee Town available in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, where players can go to interact with Waddle Dees, play mini-games, upgrade Copy abilities, and more. As the Waddle Dees are rescued from their cages in the stages, they'll join the town, filling out its population.
