Over the years, Kingdom Hearts games have been playable on many devices, with two of the most recent installments being mobile games. However, it was recently announced that Union X's story will be ending in April and that the game will no longer be playable online. Dark Road, the other game in the series on the same app will reach its conclusion after that, leaving fans to wonder what will happen in the final story updates of both titles.

Though nobody can say for certain what will happen, it would be great if the questions players have are answered, especially since there are so many mysteries from other games in the franchise. Here are five questions from each game that would give these installments a great ending if they are answered.

10 Union X: What Caused Ventus, Lauriam, And Elrena To Travel Into The Future?

Lauriam, Chirithy, and Elrena

Ever since Ventus, Lauriam, and Elrena were revealed to be alive in the Age of Fairytales, fans have wondered how they ended up in the future. Luckily, part of that mystery has already been solved as Maleficent went back to her time period by using the lifeboat, and this is certainly how the others will leave the Age of Fairytales as well. What's strange now is that the three of them are really busy fighting Darkness, searching for Strelitzia, and taking care of the Dandelions that players still aren't sure as to why they go into the future.

9 Dark Road: How Did Daybreak Town Become Scala Ad Caelum?

Scala ad Caelum in Kingdom Hearts 3

In Kingdom Hearts III, fans saw Scala ad Caelum for the first time, which is the world that Xehanort and Eraqus lived in when they learned how to master their keyblades. However, nobody suspected this world to have any connection to Daybreak Town, much less be the same world but in two different time periods. Scala ad Caelum looks completely different from Daybreak Town, leaving fans to question what happened to alter this world so much.

8 Union X: What Happens To The Player?

Ven, Ephemer, and Player

Unlike most Kingdom Hearts games, fans can create their own avatars, known as "players", in Union X. The player is friends with the Union leaders, making them important to the story. However, the player hasn't appeared in games from the Dark Seeker Saga like Ventus and Maleficent have. It's possible that they have died years before the other games take place, but it's also possible that the player will have a greater role to play in upcoming installments.

7 Dark Road: What Happens To Baldr?

Baldr

After Xehanort and Eraqus, Baldr seems to be the most important character in Dark Road, at least so far. He was one of their classmates and had a sister who went missing, along with some of the other students, during her Mark of Mastery exam.

Baldr had a feeling that something bad like this would happen but his teacher, Master Odin, has been keeping his sister's disappearance from him. As he, as well as his sister, seem to be important characters to the story, players are curious as to what will happen to them, especially since barely anything about him has been revealed at this point.

6 Union X: Is Skuld Subject X?

Ephemer and Skuld at the Keyblade Graveyard

In Kingdom Hearts III, players learned that Lea and Isa joined Organization XIII to find a friend of theirs that was imprisoned and experimented on in Radiant Garden. This girl was only known as Subject X, and her friends never found her. Fans have been theorizing for about two years now that Skuld could be Subject X if she traveled into the future along with Ventus, Lauriam, and Elrena. There's a lot of evidence behind these two characters being the same person and it would be great to have a clear answer when Union X ends.

5 Dark Road: Will Eraqus' Family Be Shown?

Eraqus

Fans have known for a while now that Brain from Union X is Eraqus' grandfather, but they haven't been seen together, nor have any of the other members in their family been introduced. It would be great to see an elder Brain interact with a young Eraqus before Dark Road ends, and it would be even better if Eraqus' parents, Brain's child, or any of their other relatives were part of that interaction.

4 Union X: Which Union Leader Has No Name?

Master of Masters gives Luxu No Name

Each of the Master of Masters' apprentices were given a role to fulfill, with Luxu's being the most important. Part of his role was to take the Master of Masters' keyblade, No Name, and find his own apprentice to pass it on to.

According to Kingdom Hearts III's Secret Reports, he gave No Name to one of the Union leaders and knew that Ventus was an impostor. Therefore, Ephemer, Skuld, Lauriam, or Brain most likely have it. But the question remains, which one?

3 Dark Road: Which Of The Students Died?

Xehanort at graveyard

When Dark Road first released, players were shocked to discover that the companions that have been working with them died so young. However, after giving it some more thought, fans came to the conclusion that the keyblade wielders that end up dying may not be so obvious. Though they could certainly be the party members introduced in this installment, it is also possible that these fallen keyblade wielders are Baldr and the students that Xehanort, Eraqus, and the others are searching for.

2 Union X: Who Is The Master Of Masters?

The Master of Masters

The Master of Masters is one of the most mysterious characters in the entire series. Many fans think that he is a character that they already know, such as Sora, Demyx, or Luxu. They also think that it will be a long time before they find out who he really is. However, since he was introduced in Kingdom Hearts X, the prequel to Union X, his identity being revealed would be a great way to end these prequel titles and would shock all of the fans. Union X has the potential to have the most surprising ending in all of the games.

1 Dark Road: How Did Xehanort Meet The Master Of Masters?

Xehanort and Master of Masters

In Kingdom Hearts III's ReMind DLC, fans learned that Xehanort and the Master of Masters knew each other. The Master of Masters seemed to have guided the young dark seeker, shaping who he would become years later. In their interaction, they talked about the world tour that Xehanort went on. It seems that Dark Road has already shown the beginning of this tour, but when it ends and when he meets the Master of Masters still isn't known. It would be great if that installment ended with the two antagonists meeting for the first time.
