For many reasons, sports and video games tend to go hand in hand. For almost as long as video games have been around, there have been many titles that see players participating in sports such as Nintendo Switch Sports. Games like WWE 2K22 are rather popular, and gaming fans are regularly seen at wrestling matches, just like one fan who brought a sign defending the plot of Kingdom Hearts to AEW Rampage.Wrestling fans making their support known for their favorite wrestlers through signs has been a frequent trend for a rather long time, but at some point, these signs became a rather fun game for attendees to make their opinions known on television. In particular, the gaming community seems to take advantage of this in numerous ways, such as when wrestling event attendees used their signs to argue over JRPGs, among other unrelated things.RELATED: Kingdom Hearts 4 Interview Confirms Returning KH2 Feature and MoreAt the recent AEW Rampage championships, fans who watched the event on TNT could occasionally see one fan's sign that reads "Kingdom Hearts is not that complicated." This sign is a statement towards how for almost the 20 years the KH series has been around, it's been known for having a story that players either think is incredibly intricate, or impossible to follow.

It seems that this fan believes that Kingdom Hearts is easy to understand compared to other people's thoughts, but the timing of which this player chose to use this sign is rather interesting. Not only does KH celebrate its 20th anniversary this year, but it has also announced that Kingdom Hearts 4 is in development. The announcement has revealed that characters from the mobile game Kingdom Hearts Union X are important to the story, which has divided fans.

KHUX was rather lengthy and was originally a spin-off title that sought to tell the story behind the Keyblade War, which was an event that already transpired in the main Kingdom Hearts story. For several reasons, many fans skipped out on the game, and those who didn't pay it any mind are currently upset that the game is now needed to understand the current plot.

However, many fans have tried to summarize the events of Union X for other fans, and the game is also available as an offline "theater mode" game so late adopters can watch the story in full. Even still, the fact that the game features nearly a thousand story-related quests is intimidating to some. In the end, KHUX has become yet another "complicated" story element to Kingdom Hearts, which might play a part in the use of the sign seen at AEW Rampage.

Kingdom Hearts 4 is currently in development.
