Though the Kingdom Hearts series is almost 20 years old, it’s still attracting new fans to this day. It follows the life of Sora as he teams up with various Disney characters to stop the encroaching darkness on his world and theirs. The series is a crossover between Disney and Square Enix, and has featured a ton of cameos from Final Fantasy as well as various Disney films. The series has had quite a few games released on different consoles, but the original Kingdom Hearts first debuted as a PlayStation 2 exclusive.

Now, quite a few games in the series have been remastered in HD as well as released on other consoles, so players from all gaming systems can enjoy the highly acclaimed Kingdom Hearts franchise. Fans of the series will be happy to know that Funko Inc. has created quite a few different Funko Pop! Vinyls for various Kingdom Hearts characters, though some are definitely more expensive than others. All prices reported are courtesy of PPG (Pop Price Guide) and are subject to change based on availability and demand.

Sora

kingdom hearts 3 sora

Sora is the main character of the franchise and teams up with Donald and Goofy to help save their worlds from the Heartless and Organization 13. Sora has quite a few different Funko Pop iterations, but all of his most expensively valued ones were exclusives for different events or stores. Because of how many towns and areas Sora and his friends visit during the games, there are many Funko Pop figure possibilities.

Halloween Town Sora

When Sora and his friends visit the different worlds of Disney characters, they often adapt to their surroundings, leading to new forms of each character. When Sora visited The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Halloween Town, players saw Sora transform into a darker, spookier version of himself. This figure released in 2017 as a Hot Topic exclusive, is currently available, and is valued at $22.

Sora Brave Form

Though the box only says “Sora,” this figure is known as the “Sora Brave Form.” This figure was released in 2017 and it’s reportedly still available, though this is surprising given its status as a Toys R Us exclusive. Currently, this Funko Pop! is valued at $22.

Sora

Though this figure just says “Sora,” it modelizes his final form in the Kingdom Hearts games. It was a Best Buy exclusive released in 2017 and is currently still available, though it may be a little difficult to track down with its estimated value of $29.

Sora (Guardian Form)

Sora’s Guardian Form replaces his traditional clothing with garb that’s colored in gold and black. This figure was released in 2018 and is reportedly still available. However, this Funko Pop! Vinyl was a New York Comic Con (NYCC) exclusive and is currently valued at $43, so it may be difficult to come by.

Mickey Mouse

Known as King Mickey in the Kingdom Hearts universe, Mickey plays a vital role throughout most of the Kingdom Hearts games. He’s incredibly powerful, even though he only stands a little over 2 feet tall. Throughout the course of the games, Mickey realizes that darkness doesn’t necessarily need to be eliminated because without darkness there is no light. Mickey has a few Funko Pop figures, but none as valuable as his Organization 13 ones.

Organization 13 Mickey

There are two versions of Organization 13 Mickey, and both had exclusive releases or Chase variants. Mickey’s unhooded Organization 13 figure is vaulted, having released in 2018 as a BoxLunch exclusive, and is valued at $9. However, the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) exclusive version of this figure is valued at $32.

The second iteration of Organization 13 Mickey has his hood up. The original figure was another BoxLunch exclusive and released in 2017, with a current value of $7. However, the Chase variant of this figure that glows in the dark is valued at $34.

Donald Duck

Donald Duck’s most expensive Funko Pop was released as both a Hot Topic exclusive and an NYCC exclusive. In 2017, Halloween Donald made his debut, modeled after when Sora, Donald, and Goofy all take a trip to Halloween Town and Donald becomes a mummified duck. This figure is currently vaulted and has an approximate value of $41.

Goofy

Goofy is another companion to Sora and Donald and found throughout a good bit of the Kingdom Hearts games. Again modeled after the trio’s trip to Halloween Town, Funko made a Pop Vinyl of Goofy’s spooky Halloween Town persona. The figure was released in 2017 as a Hot Topic and NYCC exclusive, is currently vaulted with an estimated value of $43.

Sora, Goofy, and Donald 3-Pack

Kingdom Hearts is known to drop Sora, Donald, and Goofy into the worlds that need their help. Obviously, they’ve visited places like Halloween Town, but they’ve also visited Greece to help Hercules, as well as Ariel’s home of Atlantica and the world of Monsters Inc. Another world they visited was Tron, which is where the inspiration for these Funko Pops comes from.

As a triple pack, the trio are noticeably blue-scale in color, which is obviously a nod to Tron itself. These figures had two versions, a regular one and a Chase variant. Both were released from 2017 to 2018 as GameStop exclusives, though the Chase variant is more highly valued. The regular trio is valued at $27, meanwhile the glow in the dark Chase variant has a value of $75.

There are tons of other Kingdom Hearts Funko Pops that can be researched and purchased, but these are the most expensively valued ones as of right now. However, as time progresses, it’s entirely possible that their values may fluctuate and rise or fall as necessary with the market. Collectors will have fun tracking down the Funko Pop! Vinyls, but those who just enjoy the game can always play the franchise’s most recent release, Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, or even play one of the many entries available on mobile.

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is available now for Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
