Today, during Microsoft's XO18 event, fans of Kingdom Hearts 3 got a peak at a returning world via a new trailer. Arguably, the 100 Acre Wood is one of the best worlds in the franchise, and many are likely exciting by the reveal that players will, in fact, be returning to the storybook location.

However, for those Kingdom Hearts 3 fans uninterested in this particular world, this Winnie the Pooh-dominated trailer also gives a glimpse of other aspects of the game such as Organization XIII, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Hero 6, Tangled, and more. In other words, this trailer does have a little something for everyone, which should temporarily satisfy those looking for something other than 100 Acre Wood.

Nevertheless, its main focus does seemingly remain on the world inhabited by Pooh and his friends, with some gameplay glimpses into mini-games with Rabbit. Another small detail that emerges is the special ability known as Hunny Launcher, which sees protagonist Sora blasting enemies with honey. Check out the new trailer below:

The above trailer even gives small hints at the game's overarching story, at least in ways that it pertains to the shady organization, but many may very well be lost. After all, Kingdom Hearts 2 released all the way back in 2005, and several spin-offs have released since then. For the uninitiated, it's important to note that the game will provide a recap of events leading up to the main story of Kingdom Hearts 3.

All things considered, many are likely looking forward to the game's eventual release. And if the report stating that game could take up to 80 hours to complete is any indication, it appears many will be invested for quite some time. This will hopefully satisfy the plethora of players who have been invested in this third installment since its official announcement back in 2013.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is set to release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2o19.
