Kingdom Hearts 3 is just a few months away from launch and Square Enix is increasingly willing to share more and more footage from the highly anticipated action RPG. Saturday saw the release of a new trailer as part of a gaming convention in Lucca, Italy that offers an extended look at Kingdom Hearts 3's Tangled World.

The Tangled World, or more specifically the Kingdom of Corona, was one of the first worlds to be shown from Kingdom Hearts 3 going back over three years ago. At the time, all Square Enix could show was Rapunzel's tower and several of the enemy types Sora would encounter in the region. Since then Square Enix has obviously been able to add much more, truly bringing the world of the Kingdom Corona and Rapunzel to life.

The extended Kingdom Hearts 3 Lucca 2018 Tangled trailer features not only Rapunzel's tower but also a voiced Rapunzel herself. Even Flynn Rider joins in on the fun. Sora, Goofy, and Donald join in on one of Tangled's most iconic scenes, in which Rapunzel has finally escaped from the tower and is experiencing the freedom of exploration for the first time.

The new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer features plenty of content for fans who are more interested in the action RPG's combat. The trailer shows several rapid-fire Attraction Flow attacks, in which Sora and crew summon a ride from one of the many Disney theme parks to do major damage to enemies, and Drive Forms, in which Sora's Keyblade transforms. Even some of Rapunzel's tandem attacks and abilities are shared. For a trailer just over a minute long, there's plenty of exciting gameplay to pore over.

As launch nears, Square Enix will hopefully share more deep looks into the individual worlds of Kingdom Hearts 3. Given the nature of game development, key aspects such as cinematic animation and voiceover tend to be wrapped up closer to launch. The opportunity is there to feature further extended looks at the worlds of Frozen, Big Hero 6, and Monster's Inc. There will be plenty of events and conventions between now and late January, so it's just up to Square Enix to make it happen.

Kingdom Hearts 3 releases January 29, 2019 on PS4 and Xbox One.
