This year has been great for fans of the Kingdom Hearts series, with new trailers and info gradually being revealed throughout the months. And with only four months left until its release, Kingdom Hearts 3 will be getting a new trailer sometime tomorrow, ahead of the Tokyo Game Show.

Technically it won't be a completely brand new trailer, as one was already released last week and showed off the first footage of the Big Hero 6 world and hints towards the game's story. However, the latest one, which director Tetsuya Nomura confirmed shortly after the release of the last trailer and was today teased in a Tweet from the official Twitter account, will show new footage, most likely expanding upon the Big Hero 6 world and its cast and more concrete details about the game's story. It's currently not know exactly what time the trailer will drop.

Originally confirmed back in 2015, the Big Hero 6 world will feature a completely original story that takes place after the movie and sees Sora, Donald and Goofy teaming up with the titular superhero team to fight against the Heartless, with Baymax acting as the world's party member. Fans have already begun analyzing every aspect of the recent trailer and theories have been flying wildly, with some believing that the oft-forgotten DS game Re: coded will become relevant to the plot again.

An unknown hooded figure seen in the trailer has also sparked a debate concerning their identity, with fan-favorite Xion in the running to be not only returning but also as part of the main antagonist's group. This may or may not be revealed in the new trailer tomorrow. Hopefully, we'll also see the evil Baymax that was teased when the world was first announced.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Hands-On

While the focus was on Big Hero 6, the trailer showed off a few new extra details for other aspects of the title, including more footage of the returning Gummi Ship sections and the official confirmation that Randall, one of the main villains from Monsters, Inc., will be appearing in the world based off of the movie. One of our own writers was recently able to try out a demo of the title, and their first impressions can be read here.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is currently planned to release on January 29, 2019 for PS4 and Xbox One.
