Square Enix and Sony are now able to confirm that the limited edition Kingdom Hearts 3 PlayStation 4 Pro will be available alongside the launch of the highly anticipated RPG. Kingdom Hearts 3, the long-awaited continuation of the RPG mashup featuring characters from both Disney's films and television series and Square Enix's library of games, launches on January 29 in 2019. And now players looking to celebrate its launch with a special purchase will have that option in the Kingdom Hearts 3 PlayStation 4 Pro limited edition.

According to retailer information, the limited edition PlayStation 4 Pro will retail for $399.99 and is only available in rare quantity. It's also exclusively available solely through GameStop. For those wanting to pick one of these consoles up, best hurry because pre-orders are now open and once their limited stock is gone, it's gone.

The limited edition will include a unique 1TB PS4 Pro featuring a special design from the Kingdom Hearts franchise, a matching DualShock 4 wireless controller, and a Deluxe Edition copy of Kingdom Hearts 3 with exclusive digital content, an exclusive Sora pin, steelbook, and a full-color hardback art book.

Sony announced the limited edition PS4 Pro as part of its E3 2018 event. Usually, such announcements don't get that kind of stage time, but Square Enix was trying to make up for having announced that Kingdom Hearts 3 would also be coming to the Xbox One earlier in the day. Given Kingdom Hearts' history on PlayStation platforms, and Japan's history of supporting Japanese platforms over Western ones, Square Enix put something special together just for PlayStation.

Not only does the bundle feature a PS4 Pro, which still retails for $399.99, but also the Deluxe Edition of Kingdom Hearts 3, which retails for $79.99. That means the $399.99 bundle price is effectively $80 cheaper than it'd be split apart. Nevermind the extra detail on the PS4 Pro and the controller.

Kingdom Hearts 3 releases on PS4 and Xbox One on January 29.
