Despite being shown extensively during both the Microsoft and Square Enix conference, Kingdom Hearts 3 was once again shown during Sony's conference where the long-awaited game showcased, among other things, the Pirates of the Carribean World. Since E3 began, this is the second world to be revealed, as Microsoft also confirmed a Frozen World.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is, without a doubt, one of the more excitable games to occur during E3, so its triple performance isn't actually that surprising. The trailer begins with Sora singing a "pirate's life for me" before turning an eye to the crew and characters of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Based on the presence of the Calypso and the garb of Elizabeth, it seems like this world coincides with the events of the third movie. Check out the official trailer below:

Afterward, the trailer continues on to highlight some of Sora's pirate-related abilities, such as the ship and what appears to be a keyblade-wheel transformation. It even shows off some underwater gameplay and the fact that the Black Pearl has a health bar. The trailer continues on to highlight other aspects as well like components of Hercules, Toy Story, Frozen, Monsters. Inc, and the involvement of Organization 13.

While some Kingdom Hearts fans are disappointed that it was once again delayed, but at least, the game now has a release date. Moreover, the triple E3 performance more than made up for the minor delay; however, if the game were to be delayed again, the disappointment would be overwhelming for fans who have waited so long for the next installment.

For those who are ready to put out some cash for Kingdom Hearts 3, it's worth mentioning that Square Enix recently revealed a special online bundle. The Kingdom Hearts 3 presence of E3 2018 has definitely been a journey for many. However, with Sony's press conference ending today's E3 festivities, it's unlikely any more will be shown of the title during the prestigious event, but as it gets closer to release, more and more information should become available. Stay tuned, Ranters!

Kingdom Hearts 3 is scheduled to release January 29, 2019, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
