After the massive amount of new information revealed for Kingdom Hearts 3 at the Tokyo Game Show last month, including the first footage of the long-awaited Big Hero 6, news about the Square Enix/Disney crossover RPG has slowed to a crawl. Fans hungry for some new details, however, can enjoy some quite recent leaks from the next issue of V-Jump Magazine.

Twitter user YonkouProductions was able to upload a screenshot of one of the pages from the magazine and while it doesn't show off anything groundbreaking, it does provide some nice extra info regarding the Hercules world. This world has been a recurring element in the franchise, having appeared in nearly every game, and was one of the very first worlds confirmed for Kingdom Hearts 3, where players will finally be able to explore the city of Thebes and even climb Mount Olympus itself.

We already knew that Hercules himself will be appearing as a temporary party member to help main hero Sora battle against the film's main villain, Hades - God of the Underworld - but the screenshot also confirms that Herc's love interest Megara and winged steed Pegasus will be returning. The most interesting part, though, is that the game will finally feature Zeus, the king of the Gods and Hercules' father. While he has been mentioned in previous games, this will be his debut in the Kingdom Hearts series. Time will tell if he'll be voiced by his original film actor, Rip Torn, or Corey Burton, who voiced the character in the Hercules animated series.

The page also shows off a couple of screenshots from one of the game's original worlds, Twilight Town, which will most likely play anintegral role in the story due to its connections to Sora via another important character, Roxas. The screenshots don't reveal anything new but we can definitely assume that both Olympus and Twilight Town will be among the first couple of worlds that players will visit.

Kingdom Hearts 3's release date is getting closer, but there still seems to be quite a lot we don't know about the game. For example, there have been fresh rumors that it might appear on the Switch, with Square Enix strongly considering the possibility.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will release on PS4 and Xbox One on January 29th 2019.
