The release of Kingdom Hearts 3 is a day that many gamers may have thought would never come, but a recent gameplay video shows an interesting hands-on experience that may excite even those skeptic of it releasing this year. It's worth mentioning that leaked images released a couple of days ago seemingly revealed a Wreck-It Ralph summon, and this new gameplay confirms the Fix-It Felix Jr. character's role in this upcoming action role-playing game.

While the video (depicted below) focuses heavily on the in-game world of Toy Story, it begins with an encounter with the Titan from Hercules before Sora, Donald, and Goofy find themselves in Andy's room. With Buzz Lightyear and Woody in tow, Sora heads toward Galaxy Toys where he finds rideable mechs. This Kingdom Hearts 3 gameplay does an intriguing job of showcasing locations, but it also features some of Sora's unique abilities.

Other than the rideable mechs of Galaxy Toys and the Wreck-It Ralph summon, the video also displays some of Sora's keyblade transformations and abilities, namely the Drill Punch, Mirage Staff, and the Monster's Inc.-inspired Twin Yo-Yos. Regardless of which ability gamers find the most interesting, there's a wide variety displayed, so it seems likely there's a little something for everyone. Check out the video below:

Of course, after seeing this video, many gamers may be asking when the game is set to release. According to a recent leak from Target, it appears Kingdom Hearts 3 could release on November 1, 2018, but since there has been no official confirmation from Square Enix, this news should be taken with a major grain of salt.

Currently, it's unknown when Square Enix may have an official announcement, but it's worth noting that the Japanese publisher will be hosting a special video press conference during E3 next month. The company hasn't had a real presence at E3 in a few years, so here's hoping that this conference has something to do with the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is set to release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
