Lots of worlds have been rumored to appear in Kingdom Hearts 3, and today during Microsoft’s E3 2018 panel, a new trailer confirmed that Sora and the gang will be visiting the world of Frozen in the upcoming sequel. It also gives some bigger clues as to the plot for Kingdom Hearts 3.

The trailer showed Sora, Donald, and Goofy trekking into the snow-covered world of Arendelle to ensure that Elsa does not fall to the forces of darkness. The trailer also showed off more of the Tangled world and the new Wreck-It Ralph summon that was shown off last month. It also showed off a new Lion King summon, and the return of the Gummi ships.

E3 is a big time for Kingdome Hearts 3 fans, as it will be playable during the conference so fans can get their Kingdom Hearts 3 fix until the game launches. The demo will likely include Olympus Coliseum and maybe even the new Toy Story world for fans to experience for the first time. Fans may also get to try out the new forms Sora can harness in the game, and face off against new types of heartless.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is the culmination of all the games in the franchise up to this point, bringing together all the characters that fans have met along Sora’s journey. The trailer even gives a little clue as to the fate of one of the main characters in the series, Aqua.

Kingdom Hearts 3 debuted at E3 back in 2013, and last night Square Enix finally unveiled the release date for the highly anticipated sequel ahead of a Kingdom Hearts Orchestra performance. While the release date is later than fans were expecting, it’s good that fans know when they can expect to join Sora on his journey once again.

Kingdom Hearts 3 releases on January 29 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
