Keeping Up With the Kardashians recently ended its record-breaking 20 season run, but the titular family didn't stay away from the spotlight for long. Streaming giant Hulu recently premiered The Kardashians, a new reality TV series following the family's latest exploits. The first episode of The Kardashians premiered on April 14, and it showcased an awkward moment where Kim's son Saint West discovered something inappropriate in Roblox.

Roblox, for the uninitiated, is a multiplayer creation game where players are able to create their own content and share it with other users. Roblox is massively popular, especially with children, but its online nature has seen it the center of numerous controversies. In this latest incident, a Roblox creator made an in-game experience that claimed to feature new footage of Kardashian's 2007 sex tape.

As seen in The Kardashians episode, Saint finds the game and shows it to Kim, who quickly takes the tablet away. Kim Kardashian discusses the possibility of legal action, saying, "I have all the time, all the money, and all the resources to burn them all to the f***ing ground." Kardashian's threat actually inspired the title of the premiere episode, "Burn Them All to the F*cking Ground."

Roblox has since responded to the situation, informing Polygon that the footage never actually existed in the game. The Roblox experience in question was removed and the person who made it has been banned. However, it's unclear if this ban will be effective. After all, Roblox YouTuber Ruben Sim has found their way back on the platform through various means despite multiple bans.

This is far from the first controversy that Roblox has been a part of, and it's also not the first time that the Kardashians have been upset about mobile games. Kim Kardashian has criticized mobile game microtransactions (despite the fact that Kim Kardashian: Hollywood utilizes them), and Roblox has been at the center of all kinds of problematic situations over the years.

Roblox has been used to recreate mass shootings, it's been accused of being unsafe for children, and it's been sued for hundreds of millions of dollars for music copyright issues. Despite these controversies, Roblox remains incredibly popular, especially with kids, and its Robux virtual currency is even worth more than some real-world currencies at this point. There are signs that Roblox could be coming to even more gaming platforms in the near future, so it seems that the game's popularity isn't slowing down anytime soon.

Roblox is available now for mobile, PC and Xbox One.
