The latest trailer for Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game has revealed a group of AI-controlled minions known as the Lackeys. Assisting the invading force in the upcoming asymmetrical horror game, Lackeys will help the Klowns locate, catch, and transport the citizens of Crescent Cove.

Based upon the iconic 1988 film of the same name, upcoming title Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game will allow players to take on the role of a Killer Klown or a citizen of Crescent Cove, working together with teammates to harvest humans or save them from the impending invasion. The team of Killer Klowns in particular will consist of three players, equipped with a wide array of abilities and characteristically eccentric weapons to aid them in their conquest. As revealed in the latest Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game trailer, however, the team of Klowns will not be working alone.

As shown in the latest trailer, the three Killer Klowns will have several Lackeys helping them during the game. Lackeys, who are AI-controlled, are able to assist the Klowns in several ways. Firstly, Lackeys are able to sound the alarm upon finding a human by creating an explosion of confetti that will draw the attention of any Klown nearby. Lackeys are also able to jump and latch onto any humans they find hiding, immobilizing them and enabling Klowns to catch them easily, and aid in the transport of captured humans to the Klowns' spaceship. Humans should know that Lackeys are attracted to sound and spawn more frequently as more humans are cocooned and placed in the Klowns' spaceship - meaning players must act early to stop them from taking over the map. While some think that Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a weird movie to adapt into a game, the Lackeys will help preserve its tense yet zany atmosphere.

Following a previous trailer comparing the Killer Klowns from Outer Space movie to the game, a more complete image of the upcoming game is starting to form. Each round will be a 3v7 favoring the citizens of Crescent Cove, and will take place on a Crescent Cove-themed map with a randomly generated layout, as is common of asymmetrical games. Humans will have to explore the city in search of loot and ways of escape, being able to "win" a round by fleeing the map, keeping the majority of themselves alive until the game ends, or by deactivating the Klowns' iconic Big Top spaceship. Both humans and Klowns will be able to choose from several classes which excel in certain aspects of the game.
