In a crossover no gamer was expecting, the iconic tall vampire Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village comes to KFC's dating sim I Love You, Colonel Sanders!

For those who don't know, KFC has not only its own gaming brand, KFC Gaming, but a dating sim called I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin' Good Dating Simulator, where fans of the fried chicken brand can date the mascot chef, complete with rivals, cooking battles, and Professor Dog, who is a literal dog. Not only is the art style somewhat impressive, but it also has "very positive" reviews on Steam and boasts being worthy of multiple playthroughs.

If that wasn't ridiculous enough, KFC Gaming now supports the idea of bringing Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village into the game. The tall vampire antagonist and her witchy daughters have become an icon in the gaming community, especially since RE Village revealed that Alcina is over 9 feet tall. This resulted in a number of memes and cosplays as well as fans requesting, "please step on me," and have become far more of a topic of interest than the protagonist of the game, Ethan.

But the memes haven't stopped yet. The obsession with Lady Dimitrescu continues as KFC posts a graphic to twitter, crossing over its dating sim with Resident Evil Village and recreating the upcoming game's villainous mascot in anime form. Unfortunately for the many fans hoping to woo the vampire lady, this likely is just KFC Gaming attempting to stay relevant by keeping in the loop on hot memes, the same way that the Fall Guys Twitter does. While it would be hilarious to see Lady Dimitrescu actually stand alongside Colonel Sanders in his very own dating sim, licensing would probably make that impossible.

And this isn't the first time KFC Gaming has jumped in on the conversation. Last year, when the war between the Xbox Series X and the PS5 was hot during the holidays, KFC unveiled an ad for its own console, mocking the actual console wars going on. But the "console" turned out to be a fried chicken bucket, though it has an actual product page with full specs listed on Cooler Master's website.

Outside of a number of impressive cosplays ahead of Resident Evil Village's release, Lady Dimitrescu has been reimagined in a number of other ways as well, such as a fighter in the Marvel vs Capcom franchise.

Resident Evil Village is set to launch May 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
