Not long after starting Kena: Bridge of Spirits, players will be instructed to meet Rusu in the Forgotten Forest. While locating the entrance to the area of interest is fairly simple, some players may be slightly confused about how to pass through. Indeed, the entryway to the Forgotten Forest is initially blocked by a sealed door, and this guide will help Kena: Bridge of Spirits players open it and continue their journeys.
How to Go to Forgotten Forest in Kena: Bridge of Spirits
The first step toward going to the Forgotten Forest is to navigate to the location in Taro’s Tree that is indicated on the map below. Indeed, this position is where the aforementioned sealed door can be found, and fans should position Kena: Bridge of Spirits’ protagonist so that she is facing it. Players should then turn their cameras 90 degrees to the left and look for an illuminated blue crystal that is embedded into a leaning tree.
Fans should now shoot that crystal with their Spirit Bow in Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and that action will cause another crystal, which is positioned just to the left of the door, to light up. Hitting this second crystal with an arrow will cause a third and final blue stone to illuminate, and it is just to the right of the door. Once a player has shot that last crystal with an arrow, the stone door will open, and it will now be possible to enter the Forgotten Forest.
After passing into the Forgotten Forest, players should speak with Rusu in order to initiate the Taro’s Love quest. This quest instructs fans to restore the Ancient Shrines to open the Guardian Tree, and there are a total of four of them. While players should not have too much trouble restoring these Shrines, Kena: Bridge of Spirits’ Fishing Shrine can prove to be a bit tricky to address, as it features a puzzle.
It is also worth noting that there are quite a few collectibles in the Forgotten Forest that fans may be interested in tracking down. More specifically, there are two Cursed Chests, two Spirit Mail, three Flower Shrines, six Hats, and 14 Rots, which comes to 27 items in total. While it is certainly not requisite that players pursue absolutely every one of these collectibles, doing so is a good way to extend the length of Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
