While YouTube has had its share of controversial creators, Keemstar is one of its most infamous ones. Despite widespread criticism, the drama YouTuber has largely escaped consequences for his blatantly racist statements and mistreatment of his fellow creators. But while Keem is facing this latest round of backlash, he is insisting that he has escaped punishment again.

Recently, H3H3 Productions launched the latest exposé video on Keemstar's behavior on YouTube. In it, he exhaustively points out every painful incident in Keem's history. He also questions how the YouTuber's primary sponsors, like the energy drink company GFuel, could continue to support him. Soon after, Keemstar's likeness and affiliated items disappeared from GFuel's website. Many viewers thought that Keemstar was finally facing some repercussions.

When Keem uploaded his response video, he insisted that this wasn't the case. After attempting to cover up his wrongdoing with a mix of text messages and gaslighting, he addressed speculation surrounding the energy drink sponsorship. He claimed that he left the GFuel contract to save the company from the backlash. The unrepentant YouTuber then ended the video by calling on his fanbase to attack H3H3.

It is important to note that GFuel has not confirmed Keemstar's claims at this point. Although Keem's claims could be correct, GFuel already has more than enough reason to ditch the YouTuber. Outside of Keemstar's fanbase, several viewers and creators alike have rallied around H3H3's accusations with their own horror stories. Moreover, the ending of Keemstar's response also indicates that the drama YouTuber has not improved as a person. If the drama YouTuber got into another controversy, GFuel might have had to defend itself. It is not hard to believe that the energy drink band could have dropped Keem as a liability.

Outside of this discussion around GFuel, YouTube has not stepped in to mediate the drama. Although the video platform has received flak for its interference in the past, it would be good to see YouTube deal with potential harassment. However, its absence is understandable. With people arguing about the ethics behind going after a controversial creator's sponsor, Keemstar and H3H3 are locked in a murky situation.
