Quickly gaining on Felix "xQc" Lengyel, Twitch streamer Kai Cenat is blowing up in popularity in a way that may see him become the most-subscribed to livestreamer on the platform. The Twitch statistics regularly fluctuate as top streamers fall in popularity while others rise and a handful of them jump to YouTube, creating the opportunity for livestreamers like Kai Cenat to rocket to the top.During a recent Twitch stream, Kai Cenat celebrated 60,000 subscribers with some of his friends and members of the YouTube content creation group called Any Means Possible which Cenat is a part of. Things haven't slowed for Cenat's streaming since he reached 60,000 as the popular Twitch livestreamer has nearly achieved 70,000 subscribers that attend his regular broadcasts. Though xQc has maintained a dedicated following over the years that has kept him near the top of the platform's stats, Cenat is coming close to becoming the number one content creator on the platform, and he passes the former Overwatch pro in one key area.By swapping around from games like Overwatch 2, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Minecraft to reaction content and Just Chatting with his massive audience, xQc has become one of the most recognizable names on Twitch. In many ways, Kai Cenat is gaining on xQc, with the former up to 68,303 and the latter sitting at over 76,000, leaving a space of less than 10,000 between them. Because of how quickly Cenat rose in Twitch subscribers from 60,000 to nearly 70,000, it's possible that xQc's dethroning on the platform will happen sooner rather than later.
Nearly twice as many of Kai Cenat's subscribers are paid viewers compared to xQc, while Amazon Prime members are drastically higher with the current Twitch subscription champion. A whopping 26, 290 of Cenat's subscribers have been gifted their memberships, potentially not resulting in re-subs, while xQc's channel has less than 3,000 gifted. Tier 1 memberships are the default choice with gifted subscriptions and as a result, a majority of Kai Cenat's members are in that category which is still the case with xQc, but the French Canadian has 163 Tier 3 supporters, while Cenat has only 4.
Because of his impressive following, many Twitch viewers have expressed enthusiasm for Kai Cenat's continuous climb up the charts, while others shared some of their favorite moments from his stream. Like his other milestones and as opposed to his Twitch ban, lots of Cenat fans are expecting a big party during the livestream in which he surpasses 80,000 subscribers.
