The last several weeks have been chaotic on Twitch, and Irish streamer JustAMinx is the latest to find herself among the controversy after accusations of blackmailing another streamer. Her accusations came several days after having some strong words for the many controversies and streamers caught in the middle of them, including Sliker and Mizkif, among others. However, Minx has been relatively silent on these accusations against her due, in part, to her own ongoing mental health problems.

The original accusation of blackmail was made by fellow streamer Toxxxicsupport, who spoke about an experience while attending a party hosted by Minx and several of her friends at the 2018 Twitchcon convention in a recent Twitlonger. Toxxxic said she was playing a drinking game alongside a friend where every time someone "messed up," said person had to drink a "red solo cup of vodka" or take off a piece of clothing. Toxxxic continued, saying the situation became uncomfortable very quickly as her friend had gotten "drunk fast" while she was standing in front of "13 guys" in her underwear who began pressuring her to take off the rest of her clothes. She then dressed herself and her friend, requested a ride-share, and left the party without any acknowledgment from the rest of the party.

Toxxxic said she reached out to Minx the next day, who was allegedly in bed for most of the party. Toxxxic said Minx was initially supportive, going so far as to join her at a Twitch Partner lounge to speak about her experience with several friends. However, Minx allegedly texted Toxxxic several hours after this telling her she wasn't welcome back for any more parties and that if Toxxxic shared her experience, Minx would share information Toxxxic shared with her in confidence.

Since the accusations, Minx has remained silent on the accusations across Twitch and her social media accounts as she has also caught flak for some of her statements about the Sliker gambling controversy, CrazySlick's sexual assault allegations, and accusations Mizkif helped cover up CrazySlick's actions. A third party posted a message on Minx's Twitter several days after the initial accusations, though, saying Minx was seeking help for her ongoing manic episodes and mental health problems.

The accusations against Minx have just added to the chaos engulfing Twitch over the last several weeks. Aside from the aforementioned streamer controversies and allegations, Twitch has announced several changes to the platform, which has resulted in backlash from many of the platform's most prominent streamers. While the decision to ban select forms of gambling drew a split reaction, with names like Pokimane supporting the ban versus TrainwrecksTV's criticism, most users have come out against Twitch's new revenue split plan.
