Although the full map of Just Cause 4 has recently been revealed, fans have been clamoring to know more about the world in the forthcoming action-adventure title. Promising a world full of extreme weather and gargantuan, intricate biomes, the latest spotlight trailer shows off these aspects of Solis, the game's fictional country.

With South American influence, Just Cause 4 has four major biomes: Alpines, Rainforests, Grasslands, and Deserts. Each of these different biomes offers different types of gameplay, with each having different ways to travel, different styles of verticality, and different types of weather.

First up is the Alpine biome, which is described as the most "harsh and hostile." However, this is the best place for glider gameplay, as the wide valleys create a beautiful sensation. Complete with twisting roads, snowmobiles, and a train, movement in this biome is varied but dangerous nevertheless, especially during a blizzard where the player is stripped of visibility.

The Rainforest is the largest biome, complete with complex and multiple canopy layers. In these thick pockets of forests, wingsuits are hard to utilize for travel, but trees are great to grapple to get above the canopy. This region is plagued by tropical storms, however, with lightning striking the highest points in the area.

Grasslands are calm and serene, drawing from its influence from Argentina but combined with true Just Cause verticality. Based mostly on farmland, this valley contains the most people, giving the player a varied but nonetheless beautiful scenery. Here, players will face tornados, as highlighted in the E3 2018 trailer, that destroy valleys and anything in its devastating path.

The smallest biome is the Desert which contains a mixture of smooth dunes and arid mountains. Described as an off-roading paradise, it's also a good location to utilize helicopters and planes, but those who choose to do so may miss out on the smaller areas that are full of curiosity. The sandstorm plagues this area, reducing visibility severely and complicating fights, driving, and flying.

While there is still quite some time until the game launches, this bit of information may go a long way with the hype surrounding the game. It wasn't revealed what will be covered in the next spotlight trailer, but regardless, we're excited because we consider it one of the most anticipated games of fall 2018.

Just Cause 4 releases on December 4, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
