Over the years, the Jurassic Park franchise has seen many video game adaptations, with some being more well-received than others. Jurassic World Evolution 2 is one of the better titles based on the films, putting players in the manager’s seat and watching as their parks fully come together.

Making sure everything runs smoothly in Jurassic World Evolution 2 is only part of the game, as players also need to make sure they bring in the sort of guests they want at their parks. Adventurer guests might seem like the most difficult guests to bring in with their desire to see dinosaurs fight. This guide can make inviting them in easier by teaching players how to raise dinosaur infamy.

Dinosaur Infamy in Jurassic World Evolution 2

While the mechanic of dinosaur infamy has been in Jurassic World Evolution since the first game, the second game uses new hunting mechanics and systems to breathe new life into the mini-ecosystems players can create in their enclosures. The most tricky part of raising certain dinosaurs’ infamy levels comes with how the synthesized dinosaurs can die from many things, including old age.

For those looking to make strong, ruthless dinosaurs, there are a few easy ways to raise infamy levels quickly. Firstly, players should breed one dinosaur that the creature whose infamy they want to raise dislikes. This almost ensures that the two will have a fight in some form or another. Breeding only one at a time is advisable since having them in the same enclosure will greatly lower the dinosaur's comfort levels. Having one dinosaur try to escape is much better than several at a time.

Depending on the amount of research a player has unlocked, the creature players make as a sacrifice can have genes synthesized into it that lower its attack, defense, and other stats that make it an easy, killable target. If this isn’t possible, players should take size into account. For example, a tyrannosaurus rex can easily take down a single velociraptor just from size, and how the creatures are built. Using small herbivores against bigger, more powerful carnivores is incredibly successful in raising infamy.

From there, players should monitor the situation closely. The weaker dinosaur is sure to panic and have plummeting comfort levels once introduced into an enclosure with a creature it doesn’t get along with. If the weaker animal starts attacking a gate, fans should send in the capture team to tranquilize the dinosaur in order to keep it from breaking free, but this doesn’t mean the attempt at having the creatures fight hasn’t been successful.

Once the dinosaur is asleep, the creature that’s meant to attack it may eventually hunt it down and kill it while it’s unable to fight back. Despite the smaller creature being at a disadvantage, any dinosaur that kills another goes up in dinosaur infamy, bringing in adventure guests and raising park appeal with ease. Players can use this method as many times as possible, but should strictly do it while their park is consistently making money per minute, as synthesizing dinosaurs to kill them will be a loss in finances otherwise.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
