Bandai Namco's Jump Force, developed by Spike Chunsoft, has been a title that's been going strong with support despite being different from the traditional BNE fighters like Tekken 7Soul Calibur 6, or Dragon Ball FighterZ. Released in February 2019, Jump Force is an arena-based anime fighter with a roster from various Shonen Jump series, meant to commemorate the manga magazine's 50th anniversary.

Jump Force is currently in its second season of DLC, beginning with Todoroki from My Hero Academia, Meruem from Hunter x Hunter, Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho, and most recently Yoruichi from Bleach. The final character of the season, Giorno Giovanna from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, was announced some time ago. Bandai Namco has recently provided screenshots of the Golden Wind protagonist, weeks away from Giorno's expected release date.

The screenshots show the gameplay of Giorno and his Stand, Gold Experience Requiem, while also providing insight on how Giorno is expected to be played in Jump Force. Playing the role of the puppet archetype in a fighting game, Giorno's stand does the fighting with many of Jojo's visual cues, including its fast-paced attacks and over-the-top effects expressed via its screenshots.

The last trailer that Bandai Namco released for Jump Force was the Yoruichi trailer in January, making Giorno's gameplay speculation. Modders in the past have been able to access a very early build of Giovanna alongside Yoruichi late last year, with "early build" being the keywords as his appearance seemed highly incomplete compared to the rest of the cast. With the expectation of a trailer for Giorno soon, following the screenshots, Jojo fans won't have to wait long to play GioGio himself.

Jump Force is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
