The next character coming to the all-star anime fighting Jump Force will be Giorno Giovanna, and we now have more than just images of Giovanna in action. As previously shown, the protagonist of Jojo's Bizzare Adventure: Golden Wind will fight with the final form of his Stand, Gold Experience Requiem, and could be the final character added to the game.

When Jump Force was released in 2018, the game was met with mediocre reviews, with critics highlighting the game's story as a particular downside. Despite that, the developer of the game, Spike Chunsoft, has continued to support Jump Force with two DLC character passes, adding 14 fan-favorites from across Weekly Shounen Jump's manga series.

The trailer shows Giorno Giovanna and Gold Experience Requiem facing off against Yu-Gi-Oh's Seto Kiba, Naruto's Gaara, and Rurouni Kenshin’s Makoto Shishio. While the trailer is in Japanese, fans of Jojo's Bizzare Adventure should be able to understand the abilities and skills on display. Giorno Giovanna is the 14th DLC character to join the roster, following Bleach's Yoruichi Shihouin addition to the game in January 2021, and currently, he looks to be the last.

Jump Force's Character Pass 2 comes to an end with Giorno Giovanna, and, at the time of writing, there has been no announcement regarding a Character Pass 3. Character Pass 2 was announced in April 2020, and the first character added was My Hero Academia's Shoto Todoroki. The pass has added five new characters to the game over the last year. While this continued support is impressive, it does seem like Giorno Giovanna may mark the end of support for the series. Character Pass 2 five additional characters was a step down from Character Pass 1's nine, and while the game is popular with its fans, it never took off in the same way as other anime-based fighting games like Dragon Ball FighterZ.

That being said, Character Pass 3 is still a possibility. Dragon Ball FighterZ is also developed by Spike Chunsoft and recently concluded its third character pack with Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta being added to the game. If Jump Force fans want it enough, we may still see more content added to the game.

Jump Force is out now for PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
