Bandai Namco is about to pull Jump Force from sale for good. The popular crossover fighting game was originally published in 2019, and it's now about to be added to the growing list of titles that are no longer available on any of the contemporary game stores. As of later today, players will no longer have the opportunity to purchase Jump Force from digital marketplaces. To that end, Bandai Namco is hosting a special 90% discount so that whoever wants to purchase the game before it's permanently delisted, they can do so without spending too much money. There is a small caveat, however.RELATED: Jump Force Releases New Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Giorno Giovanna GameplayNamely, Bandai Namco isn't offering Jump Force at such a massive discount across the board. On PC, potential buyers' only choice is to get the game via the Microsoft Store, as the game is sitting at its full $60 price-point on Steam and other major marketplaces. Still, it's an enticing opportunity for those who still haven't had the chance to decide who the strongest Jump Force fighters are, even after all this time.

Though Bandai Namco did announce it's removing Jump Force from game stores on all platforms late in 2021, this piece of news may come as a surprise to some gamers. According to Bandai Namco, the game will be permanently delisted from all digital stores on February 7 at 5pm PT.

What might make this game particularly interesting to some people is that it seems to be moddable at least to some extent. One modder managed to add Frieza to Jump Force's considerable roster of characters. That being said, it's well-known that the Microsoft Store versions of games aren't particularly easy to mod, so that's something to keep in mind for players that may consider modding important.

Though there's been no official reasoning provided for the removal of Jump Force from all digital stores, odds are that it's got something to do with the impressive variety of different IPs that the game played host to. The game's final DLC, for example, featured a major character from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Following the delisting, players who purchased Jump Force license still have access to multiplayer features until August 25th, 2022, with single-player content remaining available indefinitely.

Jump Force is out for PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One, with the game no longer available for purchase as of February 7th, 2022 at 5pm PT.
