Jujutsu Kaisen is one such show that most fans simply can't get enough of, mainly due to the interesting powers, stellar animation, and an interesting cast of characters.Watching the Jujutsu Sorcerers of the show use their intellect to deal with demons is a treat every single time. Cursed Techniques are great to witness and all, but their impact would certainly be lost if it wasn't for the thinking that went behind these attacks as well. Keeping this in mind, here are the most intelligent Jujutsu Sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen.Updated March 14, 2022, by Ritwik Mitra: Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the newest shonen anime to make waves after an incredibly strong debut. MAPPA has truly knocked it out of the park with this stellar show that most fans simply can't get enough of. With a prequel movie right around the corner (once it's translated) there's no better time for fans to get into this amazing show. Its characters are one of its strongest points, mainly due to how cerebral they can be. The following Jujustu Sorcerers might be strong in their own right, but their intellect plays a huge role in this regard.

15 Yuji Itadori

Yuji Itadori Jujutsu Kaisen

The protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen isn't exactly the brightest person on the show. However, given his natural aptitude and eagerness to learn, it's easy to see that his intellect won't stand in his way for too long.

Fans can't wait to see how this character will evolve over the course of Jujutsu Kaisen. With adequate training and the development of his wit, Itadori can turn out to be a force to be reckoned with.

14 Aoi Todo

Aoi Todo in Jujutsu Kaisen

At a glance, Todo doesn't seem like the brightest bulb in the room. His tendency to favor brute force, as well as his rather questionable motivations, make him look like a character who doesn't really use his brains too much in battle.

However, after finding out about his Cursed Technique, it's hard to believe that Todo has no brains. After all, Boogie Woogie is an extremely crafty technique, and the way Todo uses it in battle shows that he's honed his battle intellect as much as his physical strength... if not more.

13 Momo Nishimiya

Jujutsu Kaisen Momo Nishimiya On Broom Flying

Momo Nishimiya is another character introduced in the Goodwill Event arc whose Cursed Technique doesn't seem all that impressive. However, she definitely makes up for this lack of battle strength with a sharp mind that lets her analyze the battlefield with ease.

Given the fact that she's technically a scout, it's evident that Momo is smart enough to check out enemies and gauge their strengths and weaknesses without too much room for error. Viewers can't wait to see how her scouting abilities will improve over the course of the anime.

12 Panda

Panda in Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen is full to the brim with eccentric characters with unique designs. Panda is definitely notable in that regard, with his character boasting equal parts brains and brawn to make him one of the more interesting Jujutsu Sorcerers on the show.

His fight against Mechamaru showed the depths of Panda's character and just how smart he really is. Only time will tell just how far his capabilities will evolve over the course of Jujutsu Kaisen's run.

11 Mai Zenin

Jujutsu Kaisen Mai Zenin Holding Gun

It's a shame that Mai feels so inadequate when comparing herself to her twin sister, since she doesn't really need to do this. After all, she's got a ton of latent potential that she should try developing instead.

It's a shame that her attempts to try and trounce her sister take precedence over anything else in her mind. If she manages to get rid of this insecurity — which is no easy feat — then Mai Zenin will easily become one of the most powerful Jujutsu Sorcerers around.

10 Nobara Kugisaki

Nobara Kugisaki in Jujutsu Kaisen

The three new first-year students of Tokyo Jujutsu High are all riveting in their own way. Nobara Kugisaki is one such character whose unique ability and infectious personality make her a treat to witness in battle.

Of course, Kugisaki doesn't shy away from showing the true strength of her intellect when she's stuck between a rock and a hard place. Her ingenious nature lets her devise clever solutions to deal with imposing threats at the drop of a hat, making her a highly intelligent and calculating character in Jujutsu Kaisen.

9 Toge Inukami

Toge Inumaki using Cursed Technique

Inukami is easily one of the most mysterious yet interesting characters in the entire show. The fact that he only utters rice ball ingredients to prevent his Cursed Technique from going berserk already shows the mental strength of his character... albeit in a hilarious manner.

However, watching Inukami in action is something else. His Cursed Technique takes a huge toll on his body, but it's the manner in which Inukami works around this drawback and uses his ability to full effect that makes him such an intelligent Jujutsu Sorcerer.

8 Maki Zenin

Maki Zenin with a sword in Jujutsu Kaisen

The Zenin family is home to some of the most talented and powerful Jujutsu Sorcerers around. However, even given the pedigree of this family, Maki Zenin stands out since she manages to be a competent Jujutsu Sorcerer without housing too much Cursed Energy.

Her physical prowess is out of this world, and this strength is further bolstered by an excellent intellect that allows her to gauge a fight and react in the smartest manner possible. It's these facts that make Maki such a powerful and competent Jujutsu Sorcerer in the series.

7 Kokichi Muta

Kokichi Muta in Jujutsu Kaisen

Being forced to become a shut-in isn't an ideal prospect in the slightest. This is precisely what ails Kokichi Muta for most of his life, although the tradeoff was that he managed to attain a ton of Cursed Energy instead.

This allows him to control objects from a distance, including the impressive Ultimate Mechamaru. It must have taken incredible genius to craft such a powerful puppet, especially given Kokichi's inherent limitations.

6 Masamichi Yaga

Masamichi Yaga in Jujutsu Kaisen

It takes an extremely smart person to be the principal of a high school that caters to people with supernatural abilities. So, it shouldn't be a surprise to see the principal of Tokyo Jujutsu High on this list.

Masamichi Yaga's introduction in the series was quite deceptive, with his power seeming like nothing more than an elaborate setup for a few punchlines. However, it only takes a short while for Masamichi to show just how intelligent he really is.

5 Megumi Fushiguro

Megumi Fushiguro in Jujutsu Kaisen

Given the amount of screen time Megumi has received in Jujutsu Kaisen, it's easy to see why he ranks so high up on this list. Most scenes involving this character show just how tactical he really is.

Fushiguro's powers might not be all that fleshed out right now, but the potential he's shown over the course of Jujutsu Kaisen sees him poised for bigger and better things. If his powers are fully honed, then the manner in which he can absolutely destroy most demons will be a treat to witness.

4 Kento Nanami

Kento using Jujutsu Curse to Fight

Nanami's introduction in Jujutsu Kaisen felt rather sudden, with his mentor-like status for Yuji Itadori coming from out of nowhere. However, it only took one fight with Mahito to reveal just how amazing this Jujutsu Sorcerer really is.

Nanami's patented Cursed Technique is easily one of the best parts of this character, featuring a unique mathematical element that lets him divide enemies into ten parts and find a weak spot in the ratio of 7:3. Given how intense battles can get, it's only a given that Nanami would need to have a very sharp mind to defend himself and carry out his technique in battle.

3 Yoshinobu Gakuganji

Yoshinobu Gakuganji in Jujutsu Kaisen

Becoming the principal of a school for Jujutsu Sorcerers is no mean feat. This fact, in and of itself, makes Yoshinobu Gakuganji one of the smartest and most powerful Jujutsu Sorcerers around.

Unfortunately, he uses his intellect for fairly vile purposes when he orders his students to assault the members of Tokyo Jujutsu High. Thankfully, there's still a lot of time for the series to let this character redeem himself and use his powers for something good instead.

2 Ryomen Sukuna

Ryomen Sukuna (Jujutsu Kaisen): The King Of Cursed Energy

While most people consider Ryomen Sukuna to be a cursed spirit, the fact is that he actually used to be a Jujutsu Sorcerer. However, his lust for power drove him down a dark path and turned him into a malevolent spirit instead.

Ryomen Sukuna is not a man to be trifled with, and even a single misstep in his presence can lead to anyone's demise. If he didn't use his powers for evil purposes, then he could have easily been stronger than the next person on this list.

1 Satoru Gojo

Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen

Satoru Gojo is poised to become one of the most legendary figures in shonen history. His power is limitless and his personality is amazing, making for a great character who just can't do anything wrong at this point.

All his power would be completely useless without an intelligent mindset. Thankfully, Gojo has shown multiple times over the course of the series that he doesn't simply rely on his raw strength and ability — his sharp mind lets him tackle any situation with a clear and concise mind too.
